I can own and care for my own orangutans, which i will never be able to do in real life. So because of that its getting 4 stars

I think maybe I just don't get it? I have no problem with a game being difficult, but this one seems to be deliberately designed to be unfun. I sunk about an hour into this before giving up for the first time; at this point I was stuck between three or four rooms filled with enemies I have no idea how to deal with and no objective to be working towards and hence no motivation to proceed. I tried to get into it again, not wanting to have given up so easily, but several hours and a fair bit of progress later I still felt no desire to push through the pain. The world seems cool and the art style is pretty, the main reason I didn't want to abandon it so early, but even that seems to be working against the game here; everything seems cluttered and half the time I don't really know what I'm looking at. Maybe I'll try it again at some point and work out how to enjoy it, but this game isn't exactly inviting...

I loved it until I had to stop playing because I could tell I was genuinely addicted to it, the endless looping grinding.
A really engaging change on the typical roguelike formula, and the satisfaction of just barely scraping by and making it to the campfire is so good.
This being said, it is very simple and sadly pretty shallow when all is said and done. There were clear opportunities for it to expand and have more meaningful game mechanics, but it sticks with what its got.

Still a fun time!

What a mix. It's an autobattler, deck-builder, roguelite that focuses on build. And "build" is broad, since it applies as much to the world as it does to your hero's gear. It's challenging to balance the difficulty of battles to card and loot drops, but very satisfying when you get it right. Bosses are tough, the pixel art is on point, and the system as a whole is intriguing. Some aspects of it don't quite gel and I would like more class variety, but how good is it that I still want more?

Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 is a role-playing video game developed by Atlus. In the game, the player takes the role of a male high-school student who joins the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad (SEES), a group of students investigating the Dark Hour, a time period between one day and the next that few people are aware of. During the Dark Hour, the player enters Tartarus, a large tower containing Shadows, creatures that feed on the minds of humans. To fight the Shadows, each member of SEES is able to summon a Persona, a manifestation of a person's inner self. In addition to the standard elements of role-playing games, Persona 3 includes elements of simulation games, as the game's protagonist progresses day by day through a school year, making friends and forming relationships that improve the strength of his Personas in battle.

This is such a good deck builder rogue lite that it ruins every other game deck builder rogue lite for me. Between base game and mods, there is easily 1000s of hours worth of content.

I really enjoy this game... sometimes. When you are truly on a roll, this game can feel so enjoyable. However, the game is not always so kind, and I feel as though the difference in experience between someone who gets good loot and someone who doesn't is a vast, cosmic void.

One of the best roguelites to date, this game is a masterful balance of challenge and reward. I just need to stop mashing my face on the controller and play more patient.
