Is it controversial? maybe but it's my list and I'll do whatever I want with it π―π₯π₯π₯Ά -this is my first time trying to make a list that isn't in grid mode so enjoy I guess?-
Edit: I REPEAT. having re7 at last place doesn't mean it's bad ... I just enjoyed the other ones more. And the whole series -and I only mean these 6 games I've played lol- is actually pretty good all around, yes even RE3 remake.

I started the series with this and nothing has topped it off ever since. I FUCKING LOVE REmake. I BASED MY WHOLE PERSONALITY ON THIS GAME. I LIVE FOR THIS GAME.
*note: they should fly a copy of it to outer space so maybe one lucky alien could experience this masterpiece.

I, IN FACT, SHOULD HAVE NOT ENJOYED THIS GODFORSAKEN GAME THIS MUCH, BUT I'M SORRY IT'S MY GUILTY PLEASURE.
i started playing it as a doom eternal clone and started weapon-switching through all the enemies and bosses but with a limited ammo capacity like a resident evil game and i loved it so damn much its not even funny.
also my favorite part of this is that I LOVED BACKTRACKING THROUGH THE VILLAGE SO MUCH!@#!@#!!!!@%^! IT WAS PROBABLY LIKE TOP 3 FAVOURITE EXPERIENCES I GOT FROM THIS WHOLE SERIES.

Yes, it's a classic and It's impressive how it's still playable even after 18 years of its release but... it isn't precisely the resident evil game I wanted to play.
I played it this year so I'm not nostalgic about it at all like most of y'all -and i wholeheartedly believe that you guys love it only for nostalgia purposes ππππ»-
I thought the gameplay was very GOOD but I REALLY didn't like how it's SO linear, how most of the enemies throughout the game just felt like Reskins, AND HOW FUCKING BAD THE ISLAND IS... I'M SORRY OKAY?

I don't think it's a bad game AT ALL but I just never felt anything playing it? like seriously I don't even know what to say about it?
if there was a thing i would want to say about this game it would be that Ethan wasn't really that bad?? I honestly like the idea of him not revealing his face, it's really cool even though it's literally his only character trait lmao
anyways, it's a good game and if it wasn't for it capcom would've literally gone into bankruptcy
