classic for a reason. great soundtrack, fun combat, doesn't overstay its welcome. the story is vague but interesting enough, the replayability is mainly based around scorechasing which isn't something i'm into

story is great, soundtrack is even better, but it abandons the tightly-designed meele-focused levels of the original in favor of sprawling maps based around guns and the gunplay simply isn't good enough for that type of design. cleared it on hard mode but i don't know if i had fun doing it

not much to say about this game that hasnt been said already, other than that its arguably the greatest game of all time, and also that Mr. Evrart is helping me find my gun
