It's a cheesy over-the-top 2000s horror flick in the form of a graphic adventure. The voice acting performances are top notch, the story is solid with some good twists and choices actually truly do matter and can effect whether a character lives or dies. A really fun and enjoyable experience, even more so if you play with a group of friends and take turns making the decisions.

Really loved this. Its just what It needed to be. Everyone dies ending unironically the best

it's been a while since I've come near a fnaf game or fnaf in general and it's ENTIRELY a coincidence that it happened after I found out there's a sexy alligator in one of the latest entries something that I may have seen via rule 34 furry gay bara porn as I said a coincidence or maybe shall i say fate

years ago I had an online group chat with so many friends all hyping the series and I kind of miss those times . all in all I've never been the biggest fan of this series but I do get the general appeal and why people would create such strong fanbases over something so mundane

the incipit is pretty simple youre a security guard (?) is that the term maybe night watch is a better term anyway youre a guy who's gotta stay you guessed it five nights at freddys looking after the shut down pizzerias animatronics moving around because theyre in a free roam mode or whatever and all this for the bomb payment of 120$ wow !!!!!!

ok so actually there's a guy on the phone that will explain the current situation and how to deal with the funny anthro animals mascots but what's interesting is the backstory about this since its about an animatronic biting a kid and calling it the bite of some time in the 80s and so they disbanded the pizzeria or something in those lines of thought

sooooooo gameplay wise this is just a "survival" horror game you're gonna work from 12 pm to 6 am and animatronics are gonna try to get you into one of their suits like it's an iron maiden so to help you do that youre gonna sit in your fucking chair for 6 whole ass hours (im saying this like it's a bad thing but I actually do that everyday for like 15 hours) look at your monitor for the different camera recordings in different parts of the pizzeria turn on and off the lights and close doors and push freddys nose on the poster to make a funny sound

this is already kinda chaotic but you gotta add the fact that all this stuff consumes electricity and if you get to 0% that means DEATH TO ALL OF THEM

trying to coordinate all these aspects may be tough at first but you'll get the hang of it soon enough since the animatronics have stereotypical movements that messy baddie chika always comes from the right bonnie from the left foxy is a fucking menace to society and freddie I actually to this day to not 100% understand how he works but I'm fine

mmmmbnmhgrrr not that bad but the horror aspect went out of the window years and years ago for me so youre left with some oppressive and claustrophobic atmosphere and some stress capitalism workload and animatronics who want to kinda fuck you

This is it, the pinnacle of tower defense games. The amount of layers to this game is unreal, you can challenge yourself with chimps, boss bloons and races or just try to beat a hard map with your friends. An extreme amount of depth with what you can do crosspathing your monkeys.

Genuinely might be one of the greatest flash to steam ports next to Henry Stickmin

Admittedly I initially picked this up purely for nostalgic value and also just to thank the devs for being a part of my childhood but oh my GOD this game is still fun and addicting as hell.

The story is extremely simple, but that's all it needs to be to set up the gameplay which is originally from a Flash game so of course that concept is also fairly simple.

That said, that makes the gameplay super fun to go through over and over again for both a good casual 15 minutes or an endurance round. I once stayed up all night playing this darn game. I finally get to relive my days of being a computer lab GOD and I am here for it. This game was made to be played over and over again and it shows.

Another cool thing is that this version of Freezeria comes with achievements and a super robust character creator! I've heard people say it's one of the better charactor creation menus they've seen in a while and I agree! Mii Channel be DAMNED! (Also bonus points for saying body type and not gender, we love u woke kings Matt and Tony).

I hadn't really touched the Gameria series since Scooperia, so I wasn't exactly sure what all was new for the Deluxe version which was definitely nice to see in game. I liked the free-play mode where I sat with a bunch of my friends as we concocted the most heinous combination of ingredients for some poor soul forced to consume. Or, for an extra bit of challenge, you could try and make an order that a regular customer has made to get them to show up. The fact that the game remembers each and every order a customer makes is insane.

This leads into one of my favorite parts of these games and that's how much they give detail to the characters. These aren't just randomly generated orders from a generic set of NPCs that repeat over and over, there is a whole roster of customers with their own unique orders, appearance, and lore. Seriously. Just look up the Flipline Wiki. The cult fanbase also has forums where you can find fan-art, fanfiction, and FREAKING RP. (Me personally, I headcanon Cooper as a big cis ally FIGHT ME.)

That's what makes the Gamerias so comforting in my opinion. It really makes me feel like I'm working at a local restaurant where familiar faces come in all the time and they seem like friends, even if you don't actually know them that well.

I do have a few criticisms about the gameplay. Maybe it's because I'm such an epic gamer girl (or this game is meant for actual children), but I found the game to maybe be too easy for me, especially once I got all the shop upgrades. As long as you don't be a doofus and take or serve an order right as another sundae is about finished blending, and your hand-eye coordination and multitasking abilities are fairly decent, then you won't have any trouble acing this game. Achievements offer some unique challenges for you to try and complete, but most of them are unlocked through playing the game as normal anyways. Also I somewhat share Poofesure's disappointment in not being able to make gravity-defying creations in this version but I suppose it can't be helped considering it's on a new engine and the fun of the game is supposed to come from, well, actually trying to get the orders right. Not gonna take points off for that.

Music is also extremely simple, pretty much consisting of a few simple tracks that play through over and over. Not annoying though unless you actively pay attention to it. I imagine they're not exactly planning on pulling out the big bucks over at Flipline Studios for an award-winning soundtrack either lol.

Also the game is weirdly demanding graphics-wise? I have my graphics settings down to medium and even that has some lag every now and then. I didn't think I would encounter this type of problem.

Still definitely worth the 5 USD I paid for. The infinite replay value and the amount of side content you can work towards easily justifies its price tag and helps make up for any flaws this game has. Fun for the whole family or for just easy playing!

The design of the world and characters were admittedly a bit off-putting to start, but ended up quickly being one of my favourite parts of the game. I'm not normally big on platformers, and this one certainly has its really, really annoying sections (partially due to its age I expect) but overall it wasn't enough of a problem to complain about. With my attention being immediately grasped as soon as I overcame each hurdle.

Psychonauts definitely has much better concepts and ideas than it does levels and gameplay for the most part, but the balance is there enough that even when I wasn't having fun (per se) I wanted to continue because I knew I would be before too long.

The final level was immensely disappointing, with the platforming being so irritating that this review was almost just "Incoming! Just kidding, you can't catch that! What's the matter Raz?" bc I had to hear those lines so many times. And the final boss was about as underwhelming as it gets.

All that said, overall good time, I'll play the sequel for sure

Took me ages of playing it, putting it down, forgetting about it, remembering I wanted to keep playing months later, picking it back up and repeating the process. Happy to say though, that after 2 years of that I finally finished it and it was great! The platforming was fun, the levels were imaginative, and its overall personality was pretty charming. Having each level be a character's subconscious made exploring each level gratifying as you felt like you were constantly learning more about each character. Some of the boss designs did feel unintuitive and its collectathon nature did make trying to 100% it a pain as finding 1 missing collectible in a level sometimes took me more than an hour, but the core gameplay and story were pretty fun so I can't fault it too hard. Very excited to finally try out the sequel now!
