pyribbit is such an overhated boss yo

NOOOO. I HAVE TO BE SMART TO PLAY THIS GAME!!!! AGGGGGHHHHH!!!

moon level gotta be one of my favorite part of my game. music is sooo good. wish i had the patience to finish it tho ToT

again, stealing my original review from itch.io:

any game that allows you to platonically marry frakenstein is an automatic 5 stars, actually.

im just going to steal my review off of itch here:
this is... interesting. saw some fanart for this game on tumblr and decided to check it out and play for myself. i've only got 4 endings as of now, i'll be sure to collect more as im enticed to see what all the different messages i'll get and that 1 special thing. i thought this game was just going to be a visual novel with really raunchy and edgy late 2000's humor. and it sure as hell was that! but that isn't all it is??? in fact i think a lot of the stuff that happens in this game, while exaggerated is quite sad and real to what happens to women in real life. so some of the events and the endings made me a lil sad if im being honest lol. the voice acting is top notch, and i loved seeing the characters different shirts changing. nicole's "suicidal pregnancies" shirt is top tier! great game!

2020

kel supremancy. ending made me want to (redacted)

this game has an amazing list of songs, and i love the ost outside of the vocaloid songs here too. its fun to play with the loids though im confused as to why gumi is excluded from that? the ui and overall aesthetic is great, and omg!! pinocchio-p made the theme and outfit for that one module for this game!! there's even an 8bit version of the song!!!! yeah.

eeeeeeeeeehhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. project mirai did a way better job translating a game like this on a handheld device. u can tell that the higher ups at sega dont give this series much attention anymore like they used to. and i just hate that they decided to technically port future tone on the SWITCH of all things. like ah yes, port the port of an arcade game that has the hardest play style out of all of the games onto the console that has controllers that have the tendency to drift and break easily.

but even with all the missed potential, i dont hate the game? its not a bad game, i dont mind the toon shaders cause they literally wouldnt work with the switch anyways (and it shows in handheld mode) and i think ft models look plain and boring. just underwhelmed with the amount of songs in here. im not paying dlc for games that couldve already been added pre-game launch.

i consider this title weaker than the other rhythm heaven titles. i dont find a lot of the minigames to be memorable, and im not a huge fan of the pregames. but its nice to have a lot of old mini games, many of which were never localized before all packed into one.

best music ever. like it seriously altered my brain chemistry. i hope that they try experimenting with this art style too its soo yummy

this game is freaking great i cant believe its been a year since i've played this for the first time. finished it in a single day and theres still so much to appreaciate about it. but i definetly disagreee with everyone saying this game should be considered the #1 kirby game. sure its good, but i still think we should continue to see where HAL is going to go with this new direction for kirby before we can truly determine that. considering this is the first time in kirby history of a full 3d experience. but either way, great game, amazing art direction, and peak music.
