A pretty damn fun love letter to the platformers we grew up with.

A pretty fun take on the classic Ubisoft formula. Would have been four stars from me if it weren't for the first DLC, ugh.

This game is awesome and I wish it had gotten a port to modern systems.

2016

Gorgeous game that was a joy to play.

This game is so much better than the reviews, and if it weren't called "Mass Effect" I imagine it would have done a ton better. Yes, it's not nearly the game that any of the trilogy games are, and that's OK. The trilogy is a freaking gaming masterpiece, while this is an ambitious game that can't live up to its namesake but still provides an entertaining experience.

It's kind of like with Dragon Age how Origins was amazing and Inquisition was good, but looked bad in comparison to Origins. If you can get past such things, you'll have a good time with this game, too.

Plus, it has Peebee.

A damn fine sequel to an amazing game.

Still amazing after all these years.

Deserving of its classic status.

Just an absolutely amazing game. I can't wait for the next-gen ports.

I had these games on PSP, and I never really gave them a chance. Now that I have, they're incredibly fun with a lot more depth than I would have thought. I really enjoyed this and the sequel.

This game is great fun for fans of the movies with good performances from (almost) all of the original cast.

A surprisingly good game that expands on characters and scenes from the cult classic movie.

A pretty good remake of a classic game.

Just an amazing feat. I played through this at launch on the PS4, then again on PS5 for the Yuffie DLC (autopopping is stupid). It was still just as visually amazing the second time around, and this time with much shorter load screens!

The gameplay is still a blast, and while the game does drag a bit in the middle, the last few chapters are so amazing that I can't rate it anything less than a 5/5. The Yuffie DLC was great as well, even though it took me a bit to get used to her fighting style.
