poor mans CoD tbh but from what i remember still pretty fun

very immersive. best WW2 game ever. can't stress enough on the immersion and enjoyment i had with this game.

a unqiue FPS that utilized stealth in a way i hadn't really seen an FPS do up until this point

loved this game as a kid like the WW2 fanatic i was back then. replayed it again recently a couple of years ago and loved it just as much.

I'm a long time fan of the Assassin's Creed franchise, I've been playing every since the release of the first game - and I am totally fine with the changes Odyssey brings to the franchise. It's a new experience, if Ubisoft had kept the same gameplay style they have all the way up 'till Syndicate I would've lowered my rating, but I love the gameplay of this game and I see no reason to have a fit about it.

The story telling is much, much better than Unity, Rogue and whatever Syndicate could ever muster. It's also a tad bit better than Origins, but Origins has some elements that make it a tad bit better as well.

Main criticism from others for this game is "it doesn't feel like AC" or, "where are the Assassins?" but this game still possess the core elements of an AC game:

The Cult of Kosmos, literally the earliest incarnation of the Templars. They're very essential to AC lore because this is where it all starts, it is literally talked about in the ending of the game once you kill every member of the Cult. Alexios/Kassandra are literally the ones responsible not just for the Templars but also the Assassins. It's a prequel within a prequel, and the DLC Legacy of the First Blade just implies this even more with Darius, who was among the statues found underneath the Auditore Villa in AC II.

tl;dr - this game does feel like an AC game story wise if you actually give the game a chance, the gameplay is a massive improvement on Ubisoft's typical formula of recycling shit and it is one of my favourite games in the franchise.

from what i remember, a pretty solid Bond game ever since goldeneye and agent under fire. everything after this was pretty much crap tho

i remember playing this a lot in my childhood as a good boy from new zealand should and enjoyed it a lot but it probably hasn't aged well idk

Nicely crafted original story with very good twists and turns

One of the strongest entries in the Uncharted franchise and really fun to play, the story is really well written and the characters are very likable proven over the fact this game made me like a character (Nadine) I otherwise hated in Uncharted 4. Uncharted 4 is my favourite entry in the series and this comes in at a very close second.

Replayed this countless times on PS3, PS4 and PC. Each play through keeps me entertained. The game does a really good job of world-building and its combat system was revolutionary for the time to the point where games after it tried to mirror the combat Rocksteady introduced with Asylum. The story is probably one of if not the best Batman story in all media, films and television included. The game has a really nice aesthetic that gives it a dark and gritty feel as well as also feeling like it comes straight from the comic books.

Magnum opus of the Arkham trilogy. This game improved on everything Asylum introduced and also added new elements that made the game play experience even better. The score is amazing, the world building is amazing and the aesthetic is double amazing. The story on a first play through was ambitious and shocking with its plot twists, but even on countless replays the game still never fails to entertain.

Underrated imo. The game, although not as overwhelming as Asylum or City, still manages to tell a pretty good story of Batman's early years and how he develops as a character. The combat is a bit clunky, and the world feels like an empty reskin of City, but it's still pretty fun to play. The DLC was really good too. I thought Troy Baker and Roger Craig Smith were both really good at portraying their characters.

Arguably underrated. I think a lot of people dislike this game for the Batmobile stuff, and because of that the criticism drowns and overshadows most of the game's positive impacts. I think Rocksteady took a massive risk with the story and didn't fail to make something beautiful out of it. Sefton Hill is well aware of the batmobile problem, but his opinion on it is respectful. The game is still pretty good and I'd prefer to play it over a lot of other stuff. I think it introduces a lot of new features that would've been nice to have in previous games.

a solid take on a batman story, does it's own things with some of the characters they haven't been touched before outside of the comics. my gripe with this game tho is the gameplay. i love telltale games but this one set the bar low. the absence of music/sound effects in some parts of the game made it almost unplayable and the frame drops were horrible. if these problems weren't there it would've been a great telltale game.

very immersive. best WW2 game ever. can't stress enough on the immersion and enjoyment i had with this game.
