pretty fucked up and evil!! definitely hugely inspirational to the modern "Earthbound Inspired Indie RPG", probably more than yume nikki (and in some cases more than earthbound itself!) (but then again, most of the games lumped under that label remind me way more of mother 3 than they do earthbound anyways...)

definitely a really cool play but it's a one and done kind of thing for me. absolutely no fucking clue how you're supposed to do any of these puzzles without a walkthrough though, and the game is a little directionless which definitely takes out of the experience way more than id like. still has one of the strongest atmospheres in a game i've seen to date so it's gonna get some points even if the combat is pretty lackluster. definitely way more an art game than a fun game
