friend introduced me to this because shes very excited for the full release. im not a huge 3d platformer fan but this game is well made and has beautiful art.

challenging and inventive gameplay. unique, if bland at times, visuals. i did not particularly enjoy its humor. shelving right before completing the final challenge just because i dont have the motivation to finish it, but i might pick it back up. i followed the game dev for months anticipating its release and can appreciate the time and effort that went into the game. its core mechanics are tight and i see why many enjoy it, but it's just not my cup of tea.

just played the demo. ill update my review when the full game comes out but so far i enjoy its humor and style and am beyond excited to play the full release.

i want to like this game more than i do but some of the puzzles are so unintuitive

finally got around to playing hylics after years of wanting to. beautiful game. incoherent but affective. stunning, surreal visuals and animation. mason lindroth is one of the most talented contemporary artists. currently procrastinatinng writing my english final but ill beat hylics and write a review on backloggd. worth it.

finished the demo. very interesting so far. looking forward to the overhauled combat system. awesome animation and writing. excited for the full game!

crypt underworld of baby social sims

crypt underworld of ipad fetch quest

challenging, high-stakes, fun... great tabletop game with a decent learning curve. multiplayer would be a great addition.

honestly really underwhelming. maybe just because i had such high hopes as a fan of the genre/cats. got repetitive almost immediately, and though the visuals are cool, they could use more variation. a promising start but not much to it, unless im missing something.

anodyne 2 has some of the cleanest aesthetics in a game ive seen in a while. exploring the 3d areas reminded me of playing ocarina of time for the first time as a kid, which compliments the 2d zelda style within the game super well. also the music is fking gorgeous. like incredible. the narrative is thought provoking and beautiful as well, despite having some problems with its pacing.

my only real gripe is with the meta content inserted in the middle of the game. completely broke my immersion and sort of altered the tone of the game. i would've loved to have seen the post-game content post-game... still 100% worth playing!!!!

super badass and awesome. more than expected.

i mostly got this game for the steam achievements because i am not really a visual novel person but i was pleasantly surprised by this game. i enjoyed the characters and getting the different endings was interesting and made a lot less tedious with the ability to skip dialogue you've already seen. the music was nice, even if the game could use some audio balancing. i enjoy the rough, sketchy feel of the art, which really makes the game feel like a project that the creator is sharing with you.

i adore fatum betula.

-interesting, poetic, and original plot with beautiful writing
-fantastic art direction
-simple but fun puzzles
-the game world is the perfect size to explore
-multiple endings
-secrets
-developer seems really cool and chill lol

play this game if youre into walking sims, biblical themes, surrealism, and want to experience something unique.
