2001

The game is obviously unfinished and lacks balancing and proper story.
The combat, which is supposed to be the main focus of the game is quite difficult even on "Normal" difficulty, and even though I managed to fight most enemies in close combat without losing much health, the enemies with the guns are very unfair. Sure, you can knock it out, but when there are many of them, you can't sneak past and have to fight them all, they just shred you to pieces, since it takes a long time to kill even one enemy. The player can try using the guns, but will always get damaged and when trying to dodge and shoot one enemy, all others shoot you with high precision. The combo system is interesting and creative, but to me, it seems like enemies are too tanky, and can even handle their necks being snapped.
The story is nothing special either, just a generic plot with predicable twists. The art is mediocre at most, except the cover image, all characters aren't that well made.
This is another relic of the past that may have seemed to be okay when released, has some interesting ideas, but should be properly remade in order to be enjoyed in the current year.

Very buggy and unplayable. Don't recommend to play in the current state.
Having reached Level 5, I have faced many save corrupting glitches, that broke my game and made me quit. Even without the bugs, the game is quite bland, where every level is basically following the same formula: find an NPC/note, collect Sigils of Entry, collect several items throughout the map, push switches and then teleport to the next level, while fighting annoying enemies.
But on the positive side, the game has a potentially good story, interesting communications with Daedra mechanics and humor and the game could be very enjoyable if was remastered properly.

Completed the main story, all side quests, obtained all achivements.
This game definitely does not deserve the praise that it gets, and it often underdelivers in many aspects. If anything, this shows an issue withing the Bethesda Studios, that keeps making Oblivion again and again with the same poor scripting and abundance of bugs.
In my opinion, the game just does not have any strong "Pros".
- Some praise Skyrim for its atmosphere, but it is very mediocre at most, but perhaps I just did not understand it properly.
- Others praise the story, but it is very childish, predictable and often boring.
As for "Cons", there are some which are not too crucial to make this a bad game, but are definitely annoying.
- The menu and hotkeys on the PC version are absolutely horrible. I have clicked on the wrong thing so many times when clicking on items with a mouse, and it interfered with the keyboard controls, that it really made me annoyed.
- The spells were absolutely butchered and were made unfun. The spells system overall has been degrading from entry to entry, having peaked in Daggerfall, but has been immensely simplified and made boring in Skyrim in all aspects.
- The skill system is horrible as well. The skill points system that artificially makes the skill more efficient is absolutely awful, so that instead of for example swinging a weapon and getting better at it, the player will have to be limited as to what skill to invest in due to them being limited.
- The autolevelling and difficulty system should not be present in such games. It is a plague that follows Bethesda games from Morrowind, and though it can be tolerable there, it is not imlemented properly in Skyrim, though not as bad as in Oblivion.
- The way the game plays, makes only few builds viable, with the obvious choice of being a Stealth Archer with Smithing and Enchanting. You cannot be a purely melee build or avoid smithing and enchanting, otherwise the game will become very unsatisfying to play.
- The quest design is very poor and consists of going to a marker, going to the same boring cave, killing/stealing the target and reporting back. Even so, the very presence of quest markers is absolutely horrible and is made for people to brainlessly follow from one point to another (and playing without this marker is very inconvenient, due to how the quests are designed).

Here are the pros and cons:
+ The game is decently challenging, and even though some complain about having to restart the level from the beginning, it actually makes you learn the game. Having mastered dodging the enemies and learning their attack patterns, learning the secrets and obtaining the upgrades, the game becomes quite fair in terms of difficulty.
+ Music is pretty good, on par with the previous game, and the enemies are pretty similar in terms of the design.
- Due to the limitations of Gameboy, the game suffers from slowdowns and texture shimmering.
- The game requires some grinding to get items in the beginning, while hearts are abundant in the end. Not having barrel in the shop to store bottles is quite a downside compared to the previous game.
Overall the game is quite decent, just fine for a short and challenging play.

The game has offered moderate challenge especially in the very beginning, but becomes more and more easy as you progress and increase your strength, abilities and health pool, so I think that it is balanced just fine in terms of difficulty, and I didn't need the guide or any info from the internet.
The soundtrack was very good though.

Completed the game, but is it good?
- Story: Starts allright, but shortly after becomes a parody with a bunch of pop-culture references, and not a particularly interesting one, and finishes to be very disappointing.
- Gameplay: Basically non-existent. Go somewhere, watch you fighting an enemy, go to the gym, train a bit to maintain the skill that you lose every day bit by bit, go to work, sleep. Repeat this for 120+ days.
- Graphics: Looks okay, can't expect more from an indie game with a pixel style.
- Music: The 8-bit tune is good, but gets very repetitive.
Overall, the game is mediocre at best, and you don't really feel satisfied after beating it, and when playing it. I just beat it because I played it for a bit a few years ago on a smartphone, but apparently I shouldn't have. It only gets 2.5 because of an okay music and because it's an indie game, for which some shortcomings could be forgiven.

I love older games, but this is too outdated to play at all. Perhaps good for its time, there is no reason to play it today.

The game is an apparent continuation from A Link to The Past, with a little polishing here and there. I personally enjoyed playing it, though, of course the game is a little dated in terms of gameplay mechanics. However, the difficulty is not that high, and some bosses could literally be one or two-shot.
Finding all the seashells, knowing all the walls that you need to break, and knowing about the trading sequence is quite challenging without external help, since the game doesn't provide many clues as of where to find them. So you will have to literally search everywhere, talk to everyone and stab all the walls in order to find them, and it would take much more time than I spent on this game, so I used a guide.
I enjoyed playing through the story, and even got a little teared up in the end. Fortunately, I have beaten the game without any deaths, so I enjoyed a little additional cutscene at the end.

Have beaten the game back in 2016, 100% completion, all offline achievents on 1.09.23.
I don't have much to say, it is GTA, and it is great. Some Gold challenges may be annoying, and an option to simply restart a mission would be appreciated, but not a big deal.

Playing this was a bit difficult. But not because it is a bad game, on the contrary, the atmosphere of this game is so good, that my mind couldn't handle playing it for a long time in a row. I haven't been immersed in the story and felt myself as a character in a long time, this being the closest to it. The soundtrack is amazing.
Edit: 27.09.23. Have beaten the game on max difficulty all achievements.

Completed on 95%, did not collect all feathers, did not find all statues.
Loved the game for the most part, but seems like developers got a bit lazy and the game became both boring and unreasonable in the end storywise. I just couldn't get more frustrated at what happened to Ezio and what he did. Also, throwing armies of people is just as a lazy way to signify the game ending as in the first game.
The enemy AI is a bit janky and annoying, and the overall game design is just unpolished.
I loved the atmosphere of the game, its game mechanics, enjoyed some parts of the story, but it is not as great of a game as I expected it to be.

Completed the game on PS Vita using devilutionX port. Really liked the game. The soundtrack, the atmosphere is just amazing. Some balancing issues, but that is due to it being the first game of it's kind, and being released that long ago. Have only beaten the game on Normal difficulty, will definitely beat on higher ones, and the expansion as well.

Loved the game. The quests were interesting, the world was fun to explore, the music was amazing.
On the downside - A bit buggy, causing the game to crash, unfortunately, even with the fan patch, but not that critical. The infamous NPC jankiness also made it funny, but hurt perceiving the world seriously. Also, auto-leveling system is a bit imbalanced, forcing the player to make broken build in order to proceed on high levels (I was 39 by the end of the game, and most enemies had enormous amounts of health).

The game is a bit hard to navigate with how unintuitive the UI is, but is manageable. The loyalty system however, was hard to understand for me. The character that I managed to advance in capturing counties with did not have high demesne capacity, so I had to assign titles to relatives. However, they were quickly betraying me after several months, so I had to either assassinate them or revoke their titles. Thus, I was stuck at 15 demesnes, being attacked by kingdoms from far away, and constantly being betrayed by my own vassals. Maybe I will try the game again sometimes later, since the music is good, and playing the game in general is satisfying.
Edit: At 39 hours, I did manage to capture a sizeable number of counties, managed to keep my vassals in check with the loyalty value, and got to be the first in ranking by the year 1165, starting from 1066 with an army of 120 thousand men. Unfortunately, playing further does not seem to be fun, as it will be the same tedious process of capturing all the world bit by bit, which I don't want to do. I will count this as a complete game.

Controls are not the best, seems like they had to adapt them for the consoles, and it shows. Activities are very repetitive, got very tired of the same voicelines over and over again for 9 districts that I had to clear. The crazy people that push you for no reason and undisguise you is a really questionable thing to add to the game, it didn't make the game more fun or interesting. Combat is not the most interesting, and forcing you to fight hordes of enemies is not what I expected from the game.
However, given its time and that it's the first game, all of that could be forgiven. The plot was interesting for me, and I liked the concept of regaining your abilities as you progress in the game.
