character designs, writing, and the world is awesome but jesus christ the game mechanics deep down are horrifying

An amazing lesbian dating sim with great characters, a pleasant 90s anime artstyle with beautiful environments that made me appreciate the love this game has as I acquired all achievements, and that horror aspects that really rubs in that "doomed by the narrative" aspect as Elise pushes herself into a situation she may or may not regret dearly. Another thing this game is majorly held up by is the atmosphere, sprinting through the day and being apart of a small, anxious village that strongly hold religious and cultural beliefs. The endings are powerful, tearjerkers, and showed how real the relationship between Elise and her dates are. 10/10 artistic masterpiece of a horror game for me.

Most fun I had playing with friends by slapping every mod in existence into it and causing chaos on the maps. THE classic (multiplayer) game that is significantly improved with official mod support.

A major improvement over half-life 1 with the polish and the phenomenal source engine, half-life 2 is a game I love much more. It is a lot more story-focused with great characters and moments that make me appreciate those two classic pc games for what it is and achieved. Levels are great with the worst they can be are slightly frustrating, has more enemy variety, gravity gun is kino, and vehicle sections are actually the most fun I had with an FPS (last time I can remember). An iconic FPS game.

A classic and beloved PC game that really has an interesting story because, cmon, it is Half Life. Yet, the gameplay really feels iffy to play. Combat is alright, but the levels in the game fluctuate from good to awful with On The Rail and Xen being the highlights of its lows. Despite this, Xen was an amazing thing for its time and was cool to look at; it certainly wowed me. I like it, but it has those flaws that bothered me. Regardless, this is a good game that still stands up for some people against the march of time and evolution of video games that I was glad to pick up for free.

I suck at this game but mannn the concept is fun of trying to chain air combos by falling down a well. It can be quite addictive too.

P5T is a solid xcom-style game that I enjoyed for its simple gameplay loop that manages to implement its staple One More mechanic for a neat and small strategy game. As a story I liked it much more than Strikers as the two new spin off characters have a duo that warmed my heart with its writing and ending that I felt was done really well with the whole time it was given. Biggest complaint I have to say in this game is the menu is bad with terrible navigation; why does the shop not also allow you sell weapon and only in the velvet room? In addition, fusion mechanics in this game are the weakest with a watered-down sub-persona mechanic from Persona Q. The structure of the story, while a necessary thing to build up to the moment, can sort of get old real quick for some of hopping from kingdom to kingdom and progressing to the boss.

It's an alright video game spinoff of Persona 5 I like despite the flaws. It's not too long, but not too short. And if you ever played Mario + Rabbids I think some might enjoy this game. Persona 6 copium still going strong for me, but I'm excited for the Persona 3 Remake.

Another addicting deck builder rogue-like game with a bunch of fun mechanics what can else can I say about it other than its cute artstyle and good music. pretty relaxing game

genuinely a scary and funny ass game mixed into one. hoping this game becomes huge like Among Us with more maps and planets if i'm being honest the gameplay loop is enjoyable with others as you avoid horrors beyond your comprehension.

With the entire dlc now finished we're at end of this game's cycle and I have to say this is the most mediocre video game I've played but it also plays as the best pokemon game I've played if this makes any sense. Sure, the obvious notes are that it still runs like shit and the overworld textures straight up look awful most of the time which is beating a dead horse at this point despite it being true, but it still can ruin one's experience with this game if they prefer optimization. However, when looking at the core of the series' gameplay this is what the best it has to offer. It's strange, I hate this game but I like playing this pokemon game regardless with all the moves and stuff it introduces.

Looking at this part of the dlc battles have improved with the factor of double battles and some npcs bring up a fight. Blueberry quests, while the points can offer you an amazing abundance of content and improvements like the item printer, is boiled down to a grindy system of ubisoft style boring quests that get old real quick. They really want you to do this part with friends because grinding to 3k points to upgrade biodiversity in the biomes solo is MISERABLE. The synchro machine is something that is a nice addition to the game even if it's extremely limited. You can also fight the legendaries in the post game but it is also attached to the BBQ stuff that reaches up to a max of 120+ quests which means multiplayer is a requirement if you want all of them.

Moving on to story beats. As I said in my Base Game and Teal Mask review, this game has a much better story than Sword and Shield with the characters being a lot more developed with a decent story pacing that can be engaging. Some of it didn't impress me unfortunately, but I like Carmine and Kieran as said characters!

A fucking mess of a video game as a whole riddled with bugs, graphics that sometimes look like I'm in a Wii game, memory leaks, and a barren overworld. Strangely enough, it still manages to improve with the gameplay and provide a great variety of Pokemon some people can if they just look deep enough. You're mid as fuck, Scarlet and Violet, but you keep sticking to your fundamentals.

After finishing the currently last Towelket title in the series I can say with proud confidence that I've finished the main franchise. However, on that note this Towelket kind of was disappointing compared to other titles... It is a more lighthearted game with an emphasis on dark humor and gags that feel really hit or miss. In addition, it was strangely putting on the emphasis of breaking the 4th wall that kind of works??? but that horse gets beaten to death real quick. It feels weird finishing this game and being done with the main games because I kind of expected more yet you get some alright love story out of it and a very self-aware ending of how much the conclusion is lackluster. Like after I saw that 'Just Kidding!' ending I said to myself "Yep. That sure was Towelket 5." I don't know what to say other than you will know if you like or hate it if you play it, but the jokes sure feel poor taste to me if I'm being honest considering how much you see the similarities to 2. It's just so.... unfortunate.

The Towelket that I cannot decide whether it is worse or better than the 2nd game. I say this because just like the 2nd game it goes hard on that feminist horror with unrelenting themes that, undeniably, I wouldn't blame someone if they dropped this game for just how uncomfortable it made them and I admit this game really made me feel that way.

A positive I can absolutely hand out to this franchise STILL is unrelenting in presenting these themes that undeniably surround the idea of womanhood for this sequel. On a side note, I don't talk about towelket gameplay because it is basic rpg combat, but I have to point out how broken and buggy the game is. It is a rushed mess with a sudden shift on the emphasis of resistances and weakness with game-breaking glitches that can softlock you that were only fixed in the translation of this game. As much as I hate this gameplay shift in particular despite it being super easy, I quite enjoyed it and thought that it fit considering the final chapter of the game. While this felt like a downgrade, and in general was just a rushed title, Towelket's story still remains strong. Good on you, Towelket.

I'll edit more onto this later but I really enjoyed this title compared to the last game. I love video games that do that thing where the past games are gathered into one; feels like those games have a purpose (and they do)! Another positive is that it improved the ending of Towelket 6 by adding more context to as well as said purpose.

this is the yakuza 3 of towelket games. didn't make me feel as much compared to the first 3 games. didn't have that oomph gut wrenching but powerful feeling as 2 was. aside of that this is yandere horror. warawau what the fuck. like im sorry that happened but just what the fuck. yeah these games can really bring out feminism horror when it does.

「 Chun 」said: "You’re wrong. This isn’t a sadness contest. Everyone has hard times and happy times. Everyone lives like that."

I loved this much more than Towelket 2. Not because I liked the ending more than the last game or how it's much brighter, but because of the message. Towelket has, at this point, somewhat obtained an identity for itself with the cutesy artstyle while having brutal, heartbreaking, and disturbing moments, but from all this there can be one common theme I see at this point from the trilogy of games: the cruelty of the universe. Time and time again, you've seen so much death, so much horrible stuff (especially from the 2nd game), but despite this, there is some hope to be found with a brighter tomorrow--a brighter future. Suffering and misfortune is destined to be apart of us in our lives, no matter how much we try to escape or avoid it. Even if you are repeated to experience those same mistakes once again (intended), you will find that you can make hope out of a situation out of it... maybe even give that hope to others to see that you are not alone. Even in the darkest of days you will find a way to salvage something positive out of the destruction you've seen. This story of death, destruction, despair, time-marching, love, passion, and understanding the machinations of the universe made me feel so much for this damn rpgmaker game. I can't even describe how to feel about it other than this is a fucking freeware rpgmaker game!? Not to undermine its quality by price, of course just... shocked how these small games can bring out such a strong story to you for free. Nothing made me feel more than Chun's chapter. Nothing made me think more than Chun's chapter. The philosophical dunk of this game was powerful. I love this game so much and it's the third game in the main series so I do not know how it will top this but it was a peak game. In conclusion, it hit the ball out of the park with what the first and 2nd game did with that striking balance of light hearted comedy and the darkness of the franchise, landing a hopeful and enlightening package in the end.
