jesus christ this game a ride. a beautiful, but tragic tale of how so much one event has changed and impacted the life of paripariume. how in that final chapter, those moments of walking around inside paripariume's mind you see the themes of her mental illness. from that moment when she was separated and groomed her whole life was changed and filled to the brim with regret and anguish was like i was walking through a fucking yume nikki map (which possibly was the inspiration for that section). it was very consistent with that and i respect that shit so much cause god it sunk my heart. those last moments where the hero and paripariume were together at last was beautiful.

this is one of those weird video games that looks cutesy on the surface but has much more to it than meets the eye. liked the plot, usual rpgmaker combat is usual rpgmaker combat, but i have to say pucchi is the goat.

RIP to this game the artstyle is cute and I found fun in the gameplay but unfortunately it bit the dust. i only played it for like a couple of days then stopped entirely

on one side im glad touhou has got something international now, on the other hand i kinda hate this game. as usual per gacha standard it is grindy as hell but at least you have auto grind options so thank god for that. gameplay is meh. story is something i can't really comment on but i am also in a love/hate relationship with it. might return to continue playing this but that is a low chance as this gacha is now powercreeped to hell and back (as most inevitably are) by the dumb AU units.

fine idea, but i have better sleep putting my phone on some flat surface that isn't my bed and playing youtube videos in the background for better sleep instead of generic sleep music to try to make go to sleep. turns it into a chore tbh

i forgot i played this at one point at like 2017 or 2018. that was a dire year. never again

actually terrified the hell out of me as a kid and still manages to scare me even now. doing the meta-horror aspects with this game and messing around with your computer's settings and the game's files as a gimmick was seriously a cool idea for its time and is still a fun idea even today. loved the experience throughout

Knuckle Sandwich is visually and aesthetically astounding RPG with a pretty wild idea of combat mechanics. I would say it's like what if you had Mario & Luigi mechanics of dodging attacks along with Warioware microgames to counterattack enemies and deal the best damage all in an RPG. You can clearly tell that the developer put so much inspiration from the medium and tries so much to deliver on a fulfilling combat system, story, characters, and word. Despite this, I kinda didn't connect with the game. Like I clearly see 'The Vision' and love put into this short RPG but I wasn't as wowed by the story or characters in the game; I can certainly say though it gets crazy and some to most will see the charm in it with its weirdness. While the game didn't click with me and didn't pull me in with some personal feelings and flaws such as the limited inventory, I DO respect this game and hope for its success as it did take a long time to make this. It's a pretty good title I will say and, if you want to play it, I recommend trying out the demo first to see if the gameplay and/or story really connects with you so you can buy it.

Super Mario RPG is a pretty easy and short RPG game to play that, much like the other Mario RPG games, keeps your attention by having input-required actions during attacks to maximize damage. The remake does something really well with this by having a chain system that boosts stats so it encourages you to do your best and keep up the combo along with nice indicators what is and isn't a blockable attack from enemies. I never got to play the original Super Mario RPG game and learning that this game has added post game boss fights when the original didn't have much of a post game is the best addition to it. Haven't defeated all of them yet, but the post game fights are at least a little challenging which I like. Plot really isn't much to talk about other than the character I like the most out of it was Mallow. It's hilarious that people hype Geno up when he doesn't get much dialogue that makes him stand out, but he's cool I'll give it that. If this was the original I'd have give this a 3 and half stars but with the added post game it's an improvement. It's a pretty good remake that adds QoL, a new mechanic, and a many times mentioned post game that makes it the best version over the original. I like the game, but it's not really memorable to me compared to how others see it. Still, it's a pretty solid RPG.

I want to say so much what I love about the Yakuza/Like a Dragon franchise. This game is perfect. This isn't about the gameplay anymore it is what this series offers as a long-running franchise.

From starting with Yakuza 0 in 2018 and being a fan of this series for 5 whole ass years is a journey. I have never loved a dev team more than RGG for just delivering something emotionally powerful than these games. Following Kiryu's journey you experience and witness so much and you see the underworld crime hell itself yet still manage to always come out on top because you're The Dragon of Dojima... a legend. You witness characters in the main story grow, develop, live life as it was, y'know, real. People come and go, come together or go separate ways but despite all that you're still you and must keep going to the march of time for your efforts. The final chapter of the game proved that and it fucking broke me that's for sure. I love the world of RGG games so much and I thank the years that these games have offered me. Now, you witness the new legend of Ichiban Kasuga who had such an amazing start. Watching the trailer of Infinite Wealth has made me prepare for another tearjerker story that I will love dearly again. I know all of what I said is some cheesy or corny stuff, but I mean it when I say I love this franchise to death for moments like the final chapter of this game.

2008

one of the peak rpg maker games right here. it's such a short game yet it is wonderful in atmosphere, characters, and a story that has left such a significantly positive impact in the rpg maker library.

a simple puzzle horror game that actually terrified me at a young age... now when I actually get to play it at an older age i still get scared as hell by it. that plot twist fucking got me so hard

this game puts you in a trance walking through what seems an endless dream world and i love it. such a weird, yet enticing horror classic

This is one of my first Disgaea game's I've completed in terms of finishing the main story and... I actually quite like this one a lot! I like the jumbo and hell mode mechanics, the main cast that quickly grew on me and the story that played out. I still haven’t finished Disgaea 3’s main story, but now that I understand more how to play and break the game like this one I will definitely go back to it and finish that other game’s main story. That’s all I really have to say about this game so no deep, personals thoughts on this one. Perhaps one day I will be invest myself in one of the games’ post game.

good daily thing for pokemon x sudoku that I like using a lot. that's pretty much it LOL.
