I honestly can't recommand it as an ex-Fashion Savvy player. This is somewhat better as a dress-up game, but it's lacking in every other aspect. I really liked how rewarding it was to go shop branded clothes every in-game day to build your little boutique. Sure, Fashion Dreamer is not as restricting in terms of options. But it's not even satisfying to build an outfit, considering you can only pick from clothes you've found (somewhat limited since you can only get them from other people [which may not suit your style], from the pop-up zone [same] or from designing stuff yourself [you have a limited amount of templates]. Btw a game made in 2023 about fashion which doesn't allow you to have actual body types is insane. You're either tall or short.

Also this game has gacha. Free gacha, but still gacha. Fuck gacha games.
