Fun platformer with some neat physics

My favourite classic title, mostly due to nostalgia. Very well made stages, the doc-robot stages are a blast. The difficulty is pretty consistent throughout and the Rush weapons are the perfect addition to the series and make a lot more sense than 2's silly 'Item 1-3'.

Very fun and rewarding game. Never been as diehard about it but it's fun watching others :)

Blew me away the first time I played it. Amazing game, fuck the backtracking needed near the end of the game though lol

Beautiful visuals, interesting and unique platforming, a killer soundtrack, slick controls. Peak platforming.

Peak arena shooter. Badass arsenal and a pretty fitting campaign, completing Serious difficulty is a feat.

It's honestly kind of fun but yeah probably not for the right reasons

Not a 2D Sonic nerd but this is pretty fun, nothing too special but rather enjoyable. The story is pretty cute too with the interactions of nu-Sonic and oldboy Sonic

This game isn't as off-putting as it's predecessor which is worth talking about.

I'm not a heavy fighting game player with my only experiences being this game and Melee but if one game is more successful in making you want to learn it's intricacies I don't think that should be a knock against it. This game is a lot more accessible than a fair bit of fighting games (exception for Street Fighter) and might make the gameplay a bit more 'shallow' for that reason but if you keep a player interested you must be doing something right.

So many people I've met that aren't too interested in fighting games regard this game highly because it makes something that feels unapproachable feel so comfortable, it may not be the deepest or most rewarding fighting game but if you can get people interested in your genre in such a strong way that surely is worthwhile right?

Even to this day I can't get so deeply invested (I've spent a few hours practicing I-No and that's it) but still this game feels more rewarding than other fighting games to try and pick up, and if that isn't worth praising Iunno what is.

Wild how they perfected the formula on their third go and somehow made the games progressively worst after

This game is not for me and that makes me a worse person but frankly i don't care!

I've only beaten this with Konami code but it's epic as hell

Equal to Diddy Kong Racing in depth, but the adventure mode is lacking. Along with that, there isn't as much variety and simply I just don't have as much nostalgia for it. Still an absolute must play for anyone interested in the Kart racing genre, and a masterclass in creating something accessible but deep.

Insanely indepth FPS with a lot of really cool mechanics that encourage mastering them. Parrying bullets feels great, and all the different discards are a lot of fun to use. One of the best games that actively are 'made for speedrunning'. The UI is a tad cluttered however, and the story didn't do anything for me. The writing is kind of bad but in a funny way at least.

(Also Violet is best girl.)
