This game is hated on too much, the nightmare effects are cool. The mavericks are pretty baller, the late game slogs a bit and if you don't end up unlocking Zero by the end game the game isn't very forgiving at all but I genuinely find this more engaging than either X4 or X5.

The Enigma shot is the most bullshit thing in the whole franchise, all the levels are fucking lame. There really is almost nothing redeeming about this game, the intro is kinda cool I guess? I don't know this fucking sucks lol

Best X outing. Between the bombastic opening, the baller weapons, the fucking SHORYUKEN, and imo the best Sigma stages it's the real deal.

Best weapons and robot master designs in the series up to this point, it's peak. No sliding though which kind of sucks...

My favourite classic title, mostly due to nostalgia. Very well made stages, the doc-robot stages are a blast. The difficulty is pretty consistent throughout and the Rush weapons are the perfect addition to the series and make a lot more sense than 2's silly 'Item 1-3'.

One of the most definitive Mega Man classic releases. A remake that offers the original experience intact while also offering a fully remixed campaign with new bosses. The music is all slapping, you can play as all the robot masters which is very neat. (Though in reality it offers very little more than a diversion and is a bit shallow)

There's also a variety of cool challenges that test the players different mechanics and platforming prowess. Easily one of the best Mega Man game and likely the best PSP release overall.

Some of the most fun I've had with friends from a vidya. It's pretty cool to see how they expanded on ideas here for Celeste, namely with the dashing mechanic.

Kind of clunky but the game has a fair bit of charm and unique ideas. Very sovlful game

It's very fun but feels a tad short.

The only levels that genuinely impress me are towards the very end. The bosses are alright but I see very little reason to come back to this when the superior offerings directly proceed this.

My personal favourite in the series, most interesting map in the series and while a few of the levels are a bit lackluster for the most part it's on par with it's predecessor in solid level design.
