The story mode in this game is great, the boss games were wonderful additions. The mini games are also for the most part solid, lovely addition to the series!
The best boards in the series only behind 3, sadly the mini games are a bit lackluster. Gets some nostalgia points though, even if that hat guy freaked me the fuck out as a wee lad.
Solid mini game selection with an actual functioning online. The board choice leaves a bit to be desired but other than that this is an actually competent Mario Party release for the first time in over a decade, even if they had to do a remake to get there.
Most charming WarioWare imo, the presentation of all the different control styles alone makes it worthwhile play. Peak usage of the Form Baton's gimmicks imo, at least I can't think of another game where the controller gimmicks didn't feel incredibly tacky.
Levels are all fairly short, game is challenging enough and has a lot of cool mechanics you'll pick up on over it's 1-2 hour duration. It's a very good platformer and a must play N64 title for sure.
It's more Toree, there is a fair bit more going on in the levels but I don't know if I'd say I enjoyed it more than the first. Both are fun games though, and if you did enjoy the first you will certainly enjoy this one.
