Satisfying gunplay and the Greece level was appealing to me in the same way as Serious Sam's vistas. A fun time but not much to it which is sort of the point. I feel this would have been a 7DFPS entry back in the day but it's £3.99 and I don't feel the 30 minutes of gameplay was that good and replayable to be worth that.

Great game you can complete and replay in about an hour. Goblin mode had me genuinely afraid of dying, even on new game+. The game has goblins in it. It's a game about goblins. Get it.

A cute lil’ 1 hour FPS. It’s pretty well-designed and entertaining, and I enjoyed it, not much to say. Something something, one chopillion copies.

Very quick retro FPS shooter from the same man behind DUSK. Nothing really crazy innovative but therein is this games charm. A simple, quick story and game; gives off major Game Jam vibes. Worth the pennies you pay for it on Steam.

Simple sweet and short FPS from the maker of Dusk. Packs a lot into a short game and while not super deep the levels and enemies are full of charm. The short length will make it an easy game to come back to whenever I have 30 minutes to spare and the urge to shoot funny goblins

Fun little game you can finish in about 30 minutes, there's not even a save game option, so yeah, it's pretty short. Not to mean it ain't fun as hell, it certainly won't be one of the "best games of the decade" but you will enjoy every minute of it and that's what I value.

I recommend to give it a go if you're craving for a short, fun and challenging experience.

A wonderfully fun and short experience--even to 100% complete!--from one of my favorite indie developers.

If you have $5 lying around and want to shoot goblins in a power fantasy for a few hours, you can't go wrong with Chop Goblins.

Short and Sweet... maybe too short, but sweet nevertheless.

A fun premise with a minimal set of weapons, enemies and levels with an hour or two of play, plus options for modifiers and New Game+, neatly packaged for your Video Home System.

I wish there were more games like this! I really like a game to be a one-evening deal, but I also love having an excuse to come back for a "victory lap" with weird modes and challenges.

Those goblins really could chop

7/10

genuinely really fun, short and sweet

Another Szymanski minimaster! With inspiration from old FPS games, you have to defeat the chop goblins from destroying the world. Easy to play, hard to master (kinda), and lots of insnae laughter and groovy secrets! Want to add another perfect game to your steam library? Here's a good one!

It resembles a Quake era FPS but it is very short (can be beaten in at least an hour). Still, it's a fun playthrough and the closest to a notable Goblin Slayer game that we'll get for now.

While short, its pretty fun. It's kind of like if the Gremlins had a licensed shooter game.

Fast, short, fun game. The levels do have a lot of hidden secrets and interesting stuff to check out, which is appreciated. There's clearly a lot of thought put into this game's design, regardless of the simple presentation or silly vibe. I had a good time with this one! I'll likely revisit it again.

A cozy little FPS that really starts to sag in the latter half. Its low price point does a lot to deflect most criticism, though

it's quick, it's simple, it's fun. chop goblins. check it out.

a fine shooter but the dracula fight may just be the best moment in any video game

i chop all the goblins into lil bits

Cute, dumb fun. David is very good at making games that look ugly as hell in such authentic ways and they always feel good to play. I'm ride or die with this dude's creative output.

i want more short boomershooters

one of the greatest micro fps games ive ever played, genuinely so so so much fun

I’m sorry Mr. Szymanski, I did not really like this one

The game Daikatana wishes it was
