An incredibly creative rhythm game with brilliant maps and a cute story about the sadly very real issue of the privatization of hospitals and overworked staff.

It might seem simple when watching gameplay, because it's a one-finger rhythm game, but the reality is, that it's one of the most mechanically interesting ones and can be quite hard on the last boss and in some of the optional night levels.

The rest of the game is rather simple but incredibly fun and charming. Everyone without epilepsy should try this game!
I can't wait for the rest of the levels to release during the early-access. The soundtrack is full of bangers, prepare your ears!

O melhor jogo de ritmo que ja joguei

Delightful rhythms that keep things fresh and challenging– if only for a couple hours.

Rhythm Doctor plays wonderfully on my Steam Deck, and it's the perfect game to pick up for a few minutes at a time. I'll definitely return to this as the developers continue to add more content (hopefully).

one of the best rhythm games out there

So fun and creative and, most importantly for this genre, it has a banger soundtrack

the early access version could be a game by itself, can't wait to play the full game

I think a one button rhythm game might be all that I can handle, but that's okay because this game stretches the mechanic to wildly fun and unique proportions. I love the way that most of the levels in this game bring something new to the table, and I like the soundtrack quite a bit. It feels very connected to the story which links the song to the experience in a neat way. Also, the game looks great and has a fun story. There's a lot to love here even for those who aren't interested in rhythm games.

FAN-FUCKING TASTIC RHYTHM GAME
The whole idea of it only using one button is done flawlessly without making it baby-mode easy, and honestly it's a joy to play through
Now getting a S rank on every song, come back to me once I've done it

fofinho, dificil e legal pena q tem pouco conteudo

This game gives me serious Carpal Tunnel, but it's sooo goood

Do you like rhythm games? If yes, just download/wish-list/whatever Rhythm Doctor. You should play it.

It's a super solid, unique, and charming novel rhythm idea. There were moments in this game that I will simply have vivid memories of. The writing is funny yet empathetic. Most of the tracks slap.

great fun, an excellent take on the rhythm game genre from the developers who brought you a dance of ice and fire

This is a pretty great rhythm game, and is doubly impressive for being this content-packed and challenging while still being in early access. I was initially worried that the game only using a single button could grow stale as it went along, but the introduction of countless new beat types and balancing multiple beats made for some ridiculously challenging and rewarding stages, especially later on.

The visual style is nice and simple, with a lot of great visual tricks the game pulls to make it a bit more challenging. The theming and story was unexpectedly enjoyable, with good writing that justifies the rhythm games quite well. The music was a bit hit-or-miss for me, although I mostly enjoyed what was here. At worst, there were a few songs I didn't care for, but nothing I found annoying. At the very least, the stages are all mechanically different and fun, so even those are fun to go through.

There's a lot of stuff to do, and I'm glad there's a lot for those who want to seek a greater challenge. Locking harder remixed versions of stages behind getting a good rank was a smart move, and makes accessing these stages more rewarding. Speaking of challenge, the game's hard. It's not too ridiculous to just complete it, since you can miss quite a lot and still pass. However, going for better ranks and trying to get perfect ranks is insanely difficult. I like that, gives me something to keep coming back for every so often.

All in all, a very solid package that will only get better and better as time goes on. While not all the music landed for me, it's a well made, varied, fun, and engaging rhythm game.

i absolutely suck at this game but i love ian and paige

TASTY soundtrack, simple gameplay. will stay updated for future content

Probably the best damn rhythm game I've played. Yes, even though it has one button. The pixel art gives the game so much character, and the dialogue is really charming.

Incredible rhythm game, the best I've ever played by far. It manages to create amazing gameplay with just the spacebar, and adds way more to the table then any other music game I've ever seen. Instead of just focusing on the gameplay, Rhythm Doctor actually ties music with great characters, a great setting, humor and stories.

The effect that it causes is unlike any other, plus the songs themselves are also really good. They can also be kind of wholesome and heartfelt in the context of each character's treatment and story.

As a musician myself this was also very educative and good practice. Incredible game, can't recommend this enough. There's also a certain boss that's guaranteed to BLOW YOUR MIND.

This might be one of the greatest rhythm games to ever do it.

only way I can describe this is as if they took a single rhythm heaven minigame but made it the entire game

Gameplay is intuitive, the story is alright, honestly I'm just in it for the songs though.

The editing software gives me a headache tho.

Pretty damn fun! I love the rhythm mechanic and it was simultaneously challenging and engaging. Despite struggling at first, I'd grow to get the hang of it. I'll definitely come back in the future and play more levels soon!

god its so good but im so fucking bad at rhythm games

fun, just don't expect a whole lot of content

Still in early access as I write this, but Rhythm Doctor is a very charming little game that is definitely worth checking out. The pixel art style is cute and gives the game this really cozy feel, which I appreciate. The characters are endearing, and though this game doesn't really have much of a story (yet!!), they were a highlight of the experience.
As for the actual game, Rhythm Doctor takes inspiration from Rhythm Heaven, and is a one-key rhythm game. On every 7th note, you click the space bar. What comes then are a plethora of different heartbeats, keeping you on your toes. Some patients only have 2 beats instead of 7. Others use a swing rhythm. Others need you to hold their beat down. There are even some wholly unique ones that comes with certain special stages. Rhythm Doctor manages to keep the gameplay from getting stale, while still making sure the core gameplay loop is still simple and fun. This all comes together for the boss stages, with very unique gimmicks and interesting shifts in gameplay. I would like to especially highlight 2-X. I'm not gonna spoil anything, and you definitely shouldn't spoil yourself either, but that stage really impressed me.
The music is obviously well done. There's a decent variety of songs to be enjoyed here, from slow lo-fi to fast-paced electronic. The night levels especially have some really good songs, with Rollerdisco Rumble and Bomb-Sniffing Pomeranian being my favorites.
The game is pretty short and sweet (so far!!), but there is official support for custom stages. The community's still pretty small, but they've been hard at work making unique tracks and levels, and they're only gonna make more as the game grows.
Very underrated fun time. Go give this game a try, and give it some support. I can't wait to see this game grow!

A pretty casual rhythm game with a good OST, and a bunch of unique and cool gimmicks. Sometimes the visual effects are just a little too much.
