A fantastic bunch of hilarious games for parties (or anytime there are 4 or more people in a room). Everyone uses a smartphone or tablet as a controller, so it’s easy to get non-gamers to play! All games support 8 players, except for Fakin’ It which caps it at 6. However, anyone else in the room can join in by being part of the “audience”, who gets to participate in most games by voting for their favorite answers.

Quiplash 2: This is one is 100% about being funny. No game has made me laugh more.
Laughs: 10/10
Competition: 8/10

Fakin’ It: This is the most difficult to grasp in terms of rules. You actually have to point and raise hands and fingers IRL, not just using your phones. However, it’s incredibly clever and a blast to play once everyone catches on.
Laughs: 6/10
Competition: 9/10

Guesspionage: For fans of Family Feud. You guess what percentage of people gave a specific answer in a survey. Then everyone else says if you were too high or too low. Fun game, but don’t expect frequent chuckles.
Laughs: 2/10
Competition: 7/10

Trivia Murder Party: This is my all-around favorite. A hilarious, sadistic voice is holding you all hostage and killing you off one by one as you fail at trivia, drawing, dice rolls, anything. It’s like a really dark, actually-enjoyable Mario Party for 8 players.
Laughs: 9/10
Competition: 10/10

Tee K.O.: This is the weak entry. Everyone draws random drawings and writes random phrases. There are no prompts, so this will test everyone’s improv abilities. Then other people make shirts by combining those. So Person A submits a shirt with Person B’s drawing and Person C’s subtitle. It’s an okay premise. But then you vote on which shirts are best. This is where the game really suffers. You can vote for your own shirt if you want (so you probably will). Two shirts go head-to-head and the loser is replaced with a “New Challenger”. This usually leads to the new shirts being picked each time because of the novelty factor. But there is no point system, and those who drew the winning shirt or wrote the winning quote don’t get credited, it’s just the person who slapped two of them together who wins. It was a pretty unfulfilling game.
Laughs: 5/10
Competition: 0/10

TL;DR: Quiplash 2 is a must. Trivia Murder Party is an incredible board-less Mario Party for Adults. Fakin’ It is complex, but worth it. Guesspionage is a thinker’s game. Tee K.O. is poorly executed.

This is the best Jackbox purely because of Tee K.O.
You can design dumb t-shirts and then the game literally lets you buy the shirts you designed. I have several incredibly dumb shirts because of this game. Perfect party game.

One of the more solid all around entries in the Jackbox Party Pack series - Tee K.O. is the standout delight, with Trivia Murder Party coming in at second place.

I don't usually review multiplayer games because of how the experience can vary depending on the people you play with, but The Jackbox Party Pack 3 is something special. Hundreds of hours have been spent playing this game with friends and whether it be making fun of each other or inside jokes, this game could always manage to make us all laugh and have a good time. This game has shaped my humour probably for the worse, but I wouldn't replace my experience with this game with anything else. If you have a group of close friends, do yourselves a favour and play this game together.

Tko, trivia murder party, and quiplash carry

The final nail in the coffin that Typos are more funny than Thoughtful Jokes.

Some good stuff in here but T K.O alone is worth it; the pure unadulterated joy of seeing a lovingly scribbled picture of Kirby with the text "I HAVE A BOMB" under it will forever be unmatched.

Thanks to Tee-KO, Vapers will be forever remembered as heretical heathens

Quiplash, Trivia party, and TEE.K.O, this has some of my favorite games in the series! always love too come back to this one.

The most all-around solid Party Pack

Such a nice balance between games that require a bit more effort and ones that are good chill fun, and they're all winners. Tee KO takes time to get to the punchline but it's worth it, Trivia Murder Party is a cleaner trivia game than YDKJ with some real tension, Quiplash is a great warm up/cool down, and Fakin' It takes some effort to learn but is so rambunctious in play. Even Guesspionage, the weak link, has something to offer - sometimes you just wanna sit around with some friends and learn some weird facts.

When I think about games as a way to connect with others - not as a narrative, not as a dexterity test, and not as a collection of interweaving mechanics - the Jackbox games are the top of the list. Their importance has only grown in the time of social distancing, with streaming tech, group-friendliness, and simple controls coalescing to make these games an essential, consistent online activity for my core friend group. And Party Pack 3 is the best of them all.

i don't think i've ever enjoyed this or any other party pack while sober, not sure if the games or the multiple groups of people i've played with are the issue. really fun when you're too high to care about how funny something actually is i guess?

Best pack in the whole franchise smh.

In my opinion, this is the best pack of them all. Quiplash is a classic, Trivia Murder Party is a fun version of trivia with minigames, and TKO is always fun to draw and pair.

I'm not a fan of Fakin It since I suck at it. Pretty good overall!

i like to play trivia murder party and beat people in the mini game where you do maths really fast.

Tee KO is amazing! and Quiplash is a classic! Trivia murder party is fun but the second one is way better!

moments funnier than anything in real life have come out of this game

SUMMARY:
By this point, this has kind of been superseded by Pack 7. But if it's on sale, or Party Pack 7 isn't for you, this is a good buy. Has a couple of the best Jackbox games, one that's kind of a dud IMO, and one that is good but can only be played IRL.

--------------------

TRIVIA MURDER PARTY
A standard trivia game with some minigames to break up the action.

Trivia games are not my thing, but the minigames are neat. A sequel was made for Party Pack 6, but the rest of the games on that pack aren't the greatest, so if you really like trivia games you might consider getting this pack instead.

---

QUIPLASH 2
You get a prompt. Another player gets the same prompt. Everyone else votes on which of you had the funnier answer.

Jackbox at its purest and simplest. Has a sequel in Party Pack 7, which has a much better final round. But there are some good prompts here that aren't in 3, so it's worth having both.

---

GUESSPIONAGE
You get a survey question, and you have to guess the percentage of people who answered a certain way to the question. Everyone else guesses if you're too high or too low.

Mildly interesting, but not much more. Remember the Everybody Votes Channel from the Wii? It's like that, but as a Jackbox game.

---

TEE K.O.
You draw a few things, you write a few phrases, and those drawings and phrases are sent off to everyone else. They match drawings with phrases to make a funny T-shirt.

Quite possibly my favorite Jackbox game of all time. I've laughed my ass off at many shirts. It's a little slow, and it could use a better prompt system, but when it gets going it is absolutely worth it.

Champ'd Up from Party Pack 7 is a spiritual successor, but the concept and voting system are a little different. I prefer Tee K.O. personally, but Champ'd Up is good too. Plus it has a much better drawing system, with separate lineart and colors. Look into whether you'd like to play that instead.

---

FAKIN' IT
Everyone gets a question. One person gets a fake question, and has to blend in. Everyone else has to find the faker.

I've never played this myself, because it requires playing IRL. There are prompts that ask you to make faces, or point at other people in the room, or hold up numbers on your hands. Videos I've seen on it have been hilarious, but be aware that if you're streaming over Discord or something, you probably won't be playing this unless you develop some sort of workaround.

you gotta have this one if you're gonna have any of the ones

mano esse jogo é ridiculamente divertido, muito bom jogar isso com amigos, recomendo, mas ele é simples, só tem mini-games, mas não deixa de ser bem divertido.

It was fun when quarantine started.

This is probably the best Jackbox party pack, you can't beat Quiplash and Tee-KO.

Tee K.O. is the fuckin bomb

I’m not rating this because it’s jackbox like what am I supposed to give it

Worth it just for quiplash but then they went and added trivia murder party and T-KO on top

A great combination of games. Guesspionage is okay, Trivia Murder Party is pretty fun, Quiplash 2 is a new development of an old favorite, I personally love Fakin' It and Tee K.O. is a guaranteed side-splitter.

The games included in this Jackbox Party Pack are some of my personal favorites and are an absolute blast with the right group of friends or even family. My favorites from this pack are Tee K.O. and Murder Trivia Party. They are the games in my personal opinion to have the most chaos in the best possible ways. I look forward to playing them with friends and family again.
