Full disclosure, I am absolutely terrible at this game. But it's such a fun time waster.

I honestly picked this up on the strength of Koei's previous release Mark of the Ninja and while base building, resources gathering games aren't really my vibe I'm glad they found a big audience with this one. I had a pretty good time with it myself.

frustrating and addictive although i probably wont pick it up again.

very well designed fun game I just wish I was better at it

Fun game! Unfortunately, I have anxiety and am bad at it.

I fell in love with this game's aesthetics, haven't played enough though.

Solid game, quirky characters, great time.

Одиночество

A cute little survival game. made pretty redundant by Don't starve Together however (unless you really like the DLCs)

2★ - I tolerate the game.

Not a fan of the progression. I feel more like I'm bashing my head against a wall instead of learning from each run. But the game has such a unique charm that I am willing to come back at another point to try again.

Survival games are not usually my forte, but I have found myself having a good time as I wander around this grimmdark world. The game is challenging but rewarding when you find your groove (though I have yet to really hit my stride). A fun game, but maybe not my taste.

Would be a lot higher rated, but unfortunately my game has been bugged out since 2015 and I haven't been able to make a new world or save since.

I wanted to like this game but man was it tiresome to start all the way over from the beginning every time you died, which was often.

Don't Starve is unfortunately more cool than it is fun.

Every death in Don't Starve is another lesson to be learned. This makes mastering the game a brutal endeavor of trial and error, and with so much content, there's much to learn.

One of the better survival sandbox games with an incredibly unique yet charming presentation, overwhelming atmosphere that helps the player get immersed and lots diverse mechanics.

Honestly this series isn't really memorable for me? Still, a cool artstyle and mechanics system.

I have played very little of this but what I played was ok. Not in to survival games much anymore though.

I think I like the idea of playing this game more than I like actually having it in my hands.

gave it a real shot this time but losing your base over and over sucks

One of the most fun and unique survival game experiences you will ever have. It's not infinitely replayable, but the time you will spend on your misadventures in this universe will reward you for trial by error and screwing long runs up by angering a tall bird (I'm still salty). This is the best way to play the franchise for what it was originally meant to be, all made better by the fact that you can actually have a concrete ending to this game with a few cool pieces of lore that make this game really fun to fully explore. It controls well and the mechanics are just genuinely fun with a great day/night/weather/season cycle with a basic premise that will take genuine skill to master. Great game if you're bored.

mom! there's a survival sim in my sketchbook!

Super good, a bit difficult as singleplayer.

survival games like this are NOT my favourite genre
