My first experience with Kirby, a simple but cutesy game that unique compared to other Kirby games (which I guess is due to how it wasn't planned to be one)

you are evil if you hate this game

This was a very cute game. That's honestly the most I can say about it. It wasn't very memorable, and it wasn't a game I'd go back to play again, but it was adorable.

fun to play with friends :)

very easy but very fun. also the 3ds version straight up removed multiplayer why nintendo WHY

it's just really cute i liked it

My first Kirby game. I remember me and my brothers beat it the night we got it.

The game was fine, but the challenges felt very dragged out

It is genuinely too purehearted to stomach.

I love Kirby but something about this game felt kinda...empty? Like it was adorable, but it didn't feel like there was much I could say beyond that. Certainly not bad, but not my favorite Kirby game.

Probably the easiest game of all time. Very charming!

this is literally the cutest game ever made fuck you

The game is not difficult, but I still thought it very entertaining to see how they used the yarn aesthetic in the gameplay. Very cute.

Amazingly cute and charming. Not sure why people instantly write this game off because it lacks "difficulty". That's not really the point of this game.

Visually this is the most interesting and creative game I've ever played. The yarn and craft themed graphics are already a great selling point but it's also just a really nice game. Kirby games don't exactly pride themselves on their layered gameplay, but even then this one fits in a lot of really cool platforming ideas just by taking away flight and abilities, the mechanics that typically serve as the foundation for these games. I play this game with childlike wonder and you should too.

Easy doesn't mean bad, and this game is a top tier example.
Epic Yarn is so easy it is impossible to die, but it's a fantastic game. It's presentation is delightful, it has really good level design that encourages exploration, and there is so much variety with level gimmicks and themes.

Interesting art style, but it was too easy for my sister and I to enjoy casually, which is a serious flaw in my mind. Super-powerups like the tank boil down to cutscenes.

Grew up playing this when I was a little kid. Perfect childhood game.

adorable style & fun casual gameplay pretty solid kirby. i also like that you can become a TANK and KILL PEOPLE

Game made to relax and enjoy the great soundtrack played on the piano, Kirby doesn't die great for people who started playing or want to learn to play, a cute story told in storybook style, has extra challenges and doing 100% is a challenge and so much!

you know what? i think i'm aged enough to say this game was just 'okay'.

i played this game during a time i'd get anything with kirby on it, but somewhere in-between then and now i convinced myself it was horrible because it "wasn't a kirby game"

well, that part's true technically, if you know the development history of the game.

looking back now with age though, i can see where i had my fun with it. by no means is it a true kirby experience, but i can respect what they wanted to do. it isn't too offensive, and it isn't perfect, but it's just okay.

Eh. Wasn’t very engaging for me
