Seeing this getting revealed made me so excited and this has exceeded my expectations, though not completely breaking it. Its post-game isn't the longest and they did lock the mii central behind NSO which.. why...

But beyond those this is the same great game on the 3DS but with beautiful new graphics and new additions to combat and relationships like the Horse and Outings. Not only that, the new mii maker is flat out one of the best character creators I have ever seen in a video game.

No memes, No bullshit, this is one of my new top 10 Favorite Switch games and I'm so SO happy it was executed so well!

A cute little RPG with that Nintendo quirkiness. Big chunk of my enjoyment comes from the buffed up Mii Maker and subsequently casting my friends and favourite characters in the roles of Miitopia's delightfully weird and wacky scenarios.

Core gameplay has interesting ideas and the same wacky charm, but it's VERY simplistic and can get tiring with how frequently you are required to partake in it. This is especially bad during the final chunk of Miitopia's story, where the game throws quest after quest at you before you can proceed to the final dungeon. It's incredibly blatant padding to stretch out the game time.
Overall, I enjoyed my time, but knowing its a $50 remaster makes me disappointed they did not do more with the combat.

I really liked this game for the first half or so. It already got repetitive during the demo, but the customization and silly conversations were enough to entertain me.
Seriously, the Mii editor is AMAZING.

After some time I got exhausted and just rushed through as fast as I could. There‘s just not enough variety for a game that long. I would‘ve been more than satisfied if it had been just half as long.

Si sos creativo con los Miis que tenes, es muy bueno. El juego necesita de tu parte para brillar, pero rinde. No vale 60, eso si

Made it to the final area...can't really stomach anymore.

this game is so fun even on your own. i made so many Animal Crossing inspired abominations.

The character creator is EXTREMELY good and learning new moves is always a fun time but gameplay is way too repetitive and grindy that its not worth playing for a long time. Better in short bursts.

Amazing first three chapters, and is able to coast through one or two more. Really starts to get stale towards the end, though.

Got bored since I already played the original and the gameplay just doesn't hold up well enough for another go.

30 hours to complete this game, well spent👍

I love how deep the Mii creator goes, there's so much you can customize. The main gameplay loop is unfortunately not fun enough to carry the story on as long as it goes; it's fun at first, but feels like watching paint dry after 10-15 hours. Really hoping Tomodachi Life 2 drops with this Mii creator since I think that would warrant a much longer playtime

i honestly had so much fun playing this.

the novelty of this game wears off when you realize the game is like 30 hours long

Probably the best character creator ever

I made my family members and genuinely got attached to the storybeats bc of it LOL

gotta play the second one...

i mean its basically just miitopia again, i like miitopia

A very simple and silly RPG that turns out to be much meatier than it looks. This, however, is a bit counterproductive because the story is excessively long and it becomes very repetitive near the end.

Despite that, it has a ton of personality, it's hilarious and it has a few very interesting mechanics and systems that could turn into something brilliant in a potential sequel that makes a better use of them.

Not a masterpiece or anything, the main campaign is way too long, and the gameplay is a bit repetetive. Still though, watching all my favorite characters fuck around and occasionally do things that are actually in character is pretty fun. The hours went by pretty quickly, so I guess the game achieved what it wanted. Harmless, but enjoyable stuff.

Every single time I look at this game, I just get reminded how I'm never going to beat it no matter how hard I try...
:(

Definitely has the most personality out of any RPG I’ve ever played

A pretty solid and silly rpg, however, if you try to clear every path in the levels, it becomes a bit boring, but i suppose i could enjoy it now with my bigger level of patience.

Pretty much same as the 3DS version. Except now there's a horse.

Either way it's a good excuse to replay this so I ain't complaining.

It’s a fun game, but can be quite repetitive at times. I almost feel obligated to beat it due to how hyped I got over its release, since I love the Mii games so much. The new Mii editor is amazing and I hope they implement it into a new Tomodachi Life game in the future.

i played the original and really love the character customization. maybe ill finish it someday.
