Супер, очень понравилось жду продолжения. Незнаю почему о ней так мало кто знает и мало говорят но по мне 9/10 и то из-за кривого управления телекинеза.

I'm usually pretty generous with games when there are slivers of potential present, but frankly I'll be damned if I can find the power to say anything redeemable about Advent Rising after sifting through the weightless gunplay (like Max Payne with lasers, but plays bad), awful vehicle controls (mouse steering, really?), unclear objectives, poor menu navigation, terrible checkpoint system (without saving!!!) and the motley of bugs, glitches and crashes even with the Advent Revising patch implemented.

Also, did the developers really expect the player to be invested in the grand scope of its' three-part narrative if they can barely pass the time to build its' world or flesh out its' one-note characters, or even pace the story properly so that it doesn't feel like we're jumping from one series of events to another. Mass Effect 1 was 18 hours long, this barely cracked 6-7 for me, even with all the crashing and getting stuck into things. And why do all the NPCs, including the female ones, have the same male-sounding jump and falling sound effect?

Just a terrible game all around. One star for allowing me to dual-wield grenade launchers.

It wasn't that good, but dammit I still wanted to know what happened!

one of the worst games I ever played but its such a weird work of passion that its simply...

The Room of Video Games

the fact the dev thought this would be the next star wars, the insane large marketing, the multi media set up, the contest, the fact the story comes from some highschool brainstorm session, this game has such an interesting behind the scenes

and the basic premise is intriguing, a sci fi world where humans are actually seen as some sort of divine figures by other aliens, well most other aliens

well the gameplay is some generic 3rd person shooter with bad graphics and well Im usually not the one to care about graphics but here and especially in the cutscenes they were so laughably bad, the Alien designs are so atrociously bad and the world building is the most sloppy generic shit

the combat and driving sections are just a boring copy of halo and by the time I got like half way through I just couldnt bring myself to finish it for the simple fact that I cant take the game serious enough to put much time into it

I could go more into the storys issues and flaws but I already forget most of it

This game is kind of rad. The main things holding it back are the fact that its the first in a cancelled trilogy...

Admirable ambition and a nice presentation- but unfortunately a severe lack of polish in the story and gameplay deconstruct what could have been a very memorable experience. It feels like they were trying to do what Mass Effect did, only two years earlier and without a clear vision of what kind of game it wanted to be.

Really interesting concept, gameplay and story. Really underrated game I think.

If you truly possess the KINO Eye and have The Vision to see what they were setting up with this game you'd understand it's a masterpiece in story-telling. An absolute revelation in gameplay.
Seriously though, it has its faults but it's not a bad game. The "choices" you make don't really matter and the gameplay can be a little janky but it's still fun. The trilogy they were setting up was actually pretty interesting concept wise and it's a shame they didn't get to see it through.
And before you ask, no, nobody won that million dollar contest they had.
