The director of the og trilogy once said of this game "Back To The Future Part IV as a movie wont happen, but this is back to the future 4 in my mind"
I agree, its a lovely telltale experience before the era of fake choices. it has point n click vibes but surprisingly controls well on xbox due to the ability to simply control marty directly (a godsend) while they couldnt get micheal j fox back, they did get christopher lloyd and one HELL of a good impressionist I thought it WAS marty.
Solid game if youre a fan of the trilogy but i cant see it being that interesting if youre not!

An old relic from what Telltale use to be, where they had more of a focus on puzzle solving rather than choice based narratives. Both have their appeal, but I think this game is great on its own. Feels very faithful to the franchise and films and it explores a fun narrative. Great voice performances and settings. This is honestly just the 4th film for me.
If you like the films, you should totally try this out.

Playing this game was like watching the long-lost 4th BttF movie. Really cool game that captured the essence of Back to the Future (and it should, considering one of the producers for the movies had a hand in the story). Figuring out the sequence of events necessary to get through a section of the game was very fun, as well as the different dialogue choices. I had performance issues on my Wii version including long loading times, but I'm unsure if that's a Wii issue as I've heard other platforms had performance issues as well
a história é OK.

I guess I played Back to the Future: The Game way back in 2013 on my old laptop. I started the game simply because it was a Telltale game, since I loved playing The Walking Dead. However, I never progressed very far in the game. From what I remember, I barely advanced in it at all. Just like what happened with many other games over the years, time passed, and I never got the chance to go back and play it properly. I would still like to do it someday, but to be honest, I think that as more time passes, the possibility of playing it becomes increasingly distant.

While this game is a faithful adaptation of its movie counterparts, I wish it were better. It has a slow start, with the first 2 episodes being pretty dull. Episode 3 is refreshing and has an interesting plot twist, but the series doesn’t reach this peak again.
The cutscenes/story and production value are the best aspects of the game. Doc and Marty ruin the past numerous times and make you wonder how a 4th movie would’ve turned out. Gameplay mostly consists of tiresome puzzles/goals that feel long and drawn out, requiring you to go back and forth between areas, or talk to people multiple times. Thankfully, there’s a hint system that can point you in the right direction or outright tell you what to do.
Your enjoyment of this game will be enhanced if you’ve seen/are a fan of the movies. Otherwise, it is a below average Adventure game.

Back to the Future: The Game is a delightful treat for fans of the iconic film trilogy. Telltale Games delivers a brand-new adventure that perfectly captures the humor and time-traveling antics of the movies. You'll join Marty McFly and a young Doc Brown in a story full of twists, turns, and charming references to beloved moments in the franchise. While the Wii version suffers from some technical hiccups and the puzzle design can be on the easy side, the fantastic writing and voice acting more than make up for it.
I really love this game. This was such a great way to get people to be into the Back to the Future trilogy. The game feels exactly like a sequel to the trilogy. Voice acting is incredible. Especially with Marty's VA. It was very surprising that Michael J. Fox didn't voice Marty, because it sounds exactly like him. I like how the game build up Edna being the main villain throughout the episodes. The comedy is very good. Music is very nice. I also love the references to the three movies.
I feel like this game should've been delayed for more time. The game isn't broken and unplayable. There were a few bugs happening with the game. Audio can sometimes be weird though not really all that bad.
Overall, a very nice way for Back to the Future fans to enjoy the game. Definitely recommended for any fans of the series.

I believe that this is the best representation of Back to the Future you could ever ask for in a Video Game. There are many laughs, interesting characters as well as old ones being acted brilliantly and, just like the original series, what starts out as a simple action to fix things with the time machine makes things far worse. I originally bought this as soon as it came out on the PS3 as a percentage went to a charity for parkinsons, which Michael J Fox unfortunately suffers from.
This is a labour of love and that's obvious when playing this game. I highly recommend it to any fan of back to the future.

This game is underrated for what it is. The Story is that Doc is falsely accused of burning down a speak easy, and he sends a message to Marty to send him back to the 1930's to rescue him, this is a great idea for a Back to the future story, and the overall story itself is very good, not as good as the movies, but the next best thing, the only problems I had with the story was that, "How could Edna not realize the alcohol came from the barrel she brought?" and in the final episode, Officer Parker is told to watch you, yet there are many scenes where you are out of his sight. The Characters are great, all well introduced and fleshed out, and the returning ones feel exactly like their film counterparts. The Graphics aren't great, but they aren't bad, they have their own style that makes up for that, and the cheap syncing you would expect from Telltale Games. The Gameplay has you move and click on things to progress the story, you can choose your dialogue boxes, but there are no big choices which isn't that much of a problem when this was before Jurassic Park first did that, and the puzzles are interesting to solve, the only downside is that because of cheap programming, there are scenes where certain characters can clearly see you, and yet they don't. The Music is great, feels like how a Back to the future game should be, and the movies main theme appearing in the beginning and end of each episode is great too. Back to the Future: The Game continues the franchises timeline without any paradoxes... I mean bad stories.
It is about time. I mean it only took me 10 years to get around to playing the game. The story takes place after the third movie and it’s pretty solid. All the things you’d expect from a Telltale Game is present. Only real issues I have is locations are hard to move through. It’s not really a control issue, but more of wired placement of invisible barriers. Anyways, if you’re a fan of the movies or Telltale games you’ll enjoy this game.
It's a middle of the road Telltale game, though it has a decent story as a Back to the Future entry. The puzzles can be quite obtuse and even the hint system doesn't always quite work as it sometimes believes you're solving another puzzle entirely when you're solving a different one. Episode 5 had a very great climax and I would say it made it all worth it in the end.
If you're playing the PC version, try to find the Tom Wilson mod from the steam forums if it's still around. It replaces Biff's dialogue with the re-recorded lines from the 2015 version of the game. It makes it a much more authentic experience with the original Biff Tannen voicing the guy.
