Playing doom eternal on nightmarish difficulty is the same as having sex with a passive trance. It seems that you are in full control of the whole situation and you are pleased, but there is a high probability that the situation will radically change and you will already be fucked, which does not sound very pleasant. Just like DOOM 2016, except every mechanic has been improved or new ones have been added. Super fun to just run and gun with plenty of replayability for collectibles, upgrades, and master levels.
One thing to be aware of though is that since each enemy has a unique way to kill them, sometimes you don't always have the correct ammo to do it, or you run out of ammo in general and can't chainsaw any enemies to get any back.

Doubt I have much to offer that hasn't been said already (10/10, most fun game in ages, yadda yadda,) so I'll just ask why the 'classic green' color swap is a Master Level Classic Mode reward. I went through the most intense and insane thing I've ever experienced in my life just to touch up some colors a bit to my liking. I mean, it was worth it, I just wanna know why.
Played this day one when it was released on the PS4 and thought it was too fast for a controller, fast forward to 2022 bought a decent PC and so bought it on PC, got all the secondary weapon upgrades, and even the Unamaykr which is a BFG that doesn't use the whole shot (can be handy), but in short this game SLAPS and the soundtrack too. In my opinion even better than 2016, its Frantic, fast-paced and really really good, but would I recommend it to everyone, not really it might be too fast for some and I understand that so I recommend 2016 in those regards.
The gameplay loop is just perfect and brilliant, mastering the assets and equipment of the game to be invisible and the entire progression of the game is based on that our mastery of gameplay and knowledge of the bestiary (their weaknesses) The areas much more inspired and diversified than his predecessor
