Jeu Lego + LOTR = C'est bien.

I've been replaying this game again after going through all the Lego Harry Potter and Batman games and I have to say, Lord of the Rings is far better. Despite the material, the jokes never feel out of place unlike the latter harry potter games and it feels very epic in that battle scenes despite, at the end of the day, yo're watching Lego bricks beat each other up. some of this could be from that fact they were allowed dialog and music from the movies.

There are almost limitless fetch quests and characters to buy and obtain in the game. From famous ones like Sauromon to lesser-known characters like Tom Bombidil. I have to admit I love playing this game over and over to uncover all the interesting secrets and crafting weapons as well as unlocking cheats to make it all the more easier.

It's the best one Lego game I've played so far, but I still haven't played one or two of the newest ones yet.

However, this game is very bugged and getting 100% is impossible unless it's fixed. most likely some community fix out there, but may affect achievements.

In an unexpected twist, LEGO The Lord of the Rings features an alternate ending where, during a showdown with the black rider, Shirou Emiya from Fate/stay night suddenly appears and meets his demise in a manner befitting LEGO absurdity. Picture this: as Frodo raises the One Ring, Shirou, attempting an ambitious "Trace On" move, mistakenly conjures an oversized LEGO brick instead of a weapon. The black rider, bemused, knocks the LEGO brick into a pit of molten plastic, sealing Shirou's fate. A surprising crossover moment that adds a touch of the Fate series' tragedy to the LEGO Middle-earth. However, this shocking twist might not resonate well with hardcore Fate fans. I'd rate the game and this particular crossover event a 6/10 for its audacity but also its potential to disturb the narrative cohesion.

I remember doing this really funny glitch where you could roll past Boromir in the forest level to skip a quicktime event needed to beat the level and my Wii crashed. Funny how the Wii versions of Lego games consistently worked very poorly.

Thought I logged this long ago lmao

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Not as charming as the Star Wars Lego games, but I still really enjoyed it.

As both a massive fan of these movies and the Middle Earth universe in general, this game was a dream. This game has a lot of love for this universe and it's such a joy to play through. This is still one of my favorite LEGO games of all time.

Plusy: LEGO!, humor cutscenek, głosy w cutscenkach

9/10

This game helped me to recognize the dire portent that was LEGO people with voices

What a banger of a Lego game
Voice acting helps with this one since it’s just using the audio from the film who are actually good voice actors

I really like the item system where you can do most of the things in the game with only 1 character. The same with mythril items but I wish they came in another color. Next up the split path in two towers and the return of the king. I’m not too huge on since I play the levels based on the Xbox achievements and it makes you do the two Frodo/Sam levels then 3 of the other group then the last forced level. The in universe reason is that the eye is looking at where you need to go next is dumb and only works once when it’s mount moridor. The last thing I want to mention is the 100% award which is the actual ending of the movie when Frodo sails away kinda weird you have to 100% to get it.

I really wish I had this game growing up. The scale is incredible for a LEGO game, giving you the entire world of Middle Earth to explore. Granted it's a very condensed version of Middle Earth, but that doesn't detract from the sense of scope at all. The quest are fun, the mithril tools are a great idea, and once again the gameplay is solid.

Top 5 Lego game, easy. Kino. Goat.

super fun and nostalgic! kinda upset that they went with dialogue taken from the movie instead of the classic lego mumble from earlier games.

I like LEGO games, but I missed a lot of the older ones. I already played LEGO The Hobbit which plays better LEGO LotR but this has the better story. I currently only beat the main game; I plan on going back and 100% it. Like most LEGO games, trying to get 100% will at least double the playtime since you have a lot of quests and have to replay all the stages. If you are new to LEGO games, I would recommend playing LEGO City Undercover, DC Super-Villains or Star Wars: The Force Awakens. After playing those and you want more LEGO games, then I would recommend playing this and The Hobbit.

I played this on the SteamDeck. I had use Proton-GE. The game froze on me once but not sure if that was due to Proton or being an older Lego game. Game crashed on me at a cutscene near the end, so I replayed that and played the last 2 stages on my PC with no issues.

Personal nominee for best "The Lord of the Rings" video game.

I thought this game was pretty fun. As a massive LOTR fan, that might be a big reason. One of the best parts of the game is the open world. Being able to explore the entirety of Middle Earth was amazing. I thought the missions were pretty fun too but I had some glitches that marred the experience a little bit.

Lego once again taking a property that I adore beyond my own comprehension and making something so effortlessly charming and infinitely re-playable.

So good, in fact, that it was the first game since Lego PotC nearly 10 years ago that I have 100% completed.

Very good Lego games, stays real to the movies and as every lego game all the collectables are interesting and fun to collect. Older game, isnt flawless preformance wise, even for its time.
