Loved being able to play Portal 1, Half-life 2, etc but was sad at the fact it’s literally impossible to play the PS3 version of Team Fortress 2 :[

This was my intro to HL2, Portal, and TF2. Each individual game is insanely good, but I'm giving this four stars because of the ease of access it gave people (like me) to play these awesome games.

Valve just casually releasing two of the best games of all time, and a cliffhanger that's still irritating people to this day, all in one package on the same day is the biggest power move the games industry has ever seen.
At some point I decided to get the console version of this despite having the PC version. On that same trip to Best Buy, I bought my first vinyl record ever, which was "Unknown Pleasures" by Joy Division. I also spent some time punching the lamp post near our car when we got there so I could try to make my knuckles bigger. I will only get weirder.

I remember hearing the 'Still Alive' song from Portal play over the jukebox in L4D2 and I was so interested what it was and where it was from and researching was how I found Portal and then The Orange Box. I am so glad that series of events happened because The Orange Box has to be one of the best collections of amazing games out there. There is a combination of story, puzzles and combat between all the games and is a great way to get introduced to Valve's catalog.

Half-life 2 and it's episodes really are a worthy succesor to the original Half-life, still with some of the best physics and physics puzzles in a game to date.
Miss the old 360 TF2 servers (before the modders ruined it and it died out) I enjoyed how everyone just had the default weapons and it felt like more of an even playing field. Spy crabs and sniper humping everywhere
