Box makes other boxes and jumpes around.

Box boy is a real clever puzzle platformer that’s honestly way more full of content than you’d think. About 20 worlds with 8 levels each, I think this is one of the best 3ds eshop titles out there. Hal laboratory really cooked

Fun, inventive little puzzle game. Really enjoyed my time with it but never ended up checking out any of the sequels.

When rectangle boy sacrificed himself I cried

The start of something great. This game began the Boxboy series very effectively and has a lot of great gimmicks and puzzles, as well as enticing unlockables.

One of the best puzzle games I've ever played on the 3DS. The BoxBoy! puzzles are quite fun and using the boxes strategically feels rewarding.

A very simple, but good puzzle game. Made me have to look up answers a few times. Best played in short bursts, I'd say.

Looking forward to the Box Boy MMORPG.

fun little puzzle platformer with a neat central mechanic. interesting how much freedom is allowed for many of the puzzles, even late into the game. biggest gripe is just that a lot of the collectibles kinda felt like afterthoughts

A neat little puzzle game with an interesting concept. Only real issues with it is that the 3 bonus worlds are pretty frustrating at points and that the side content feels half assed.

If Qbby is a cube, and Qbby can generate insentient cubes at will, does that mean those cubes are lifeless clones of Qbby

I saw the love this game was gettin' the other day, and because it's on sale for 2.50 atm, (and I decided on $40 Nintendo cash instead of Overwatch), I thought I'd pick it up. It's not the most compelling or best action-puzzle game ever, but it's a fun way to spend an afternoon. It took me like 3-ish hours to get through it and get everything in the first 17 worlds, and now I'm working in the 5 you unlock in the post-game.

My only real complaint is how the last few costumes you unlock are the coolest, but they also give you bonus abilities (faster speed, higher jump, more blocks). Thus you have to choose between lookin' fly, and playing the game like it was designed :/

Verdict: It's a really well designed little action-puzzle game that I'd recommend to anyone looking to have a down-time game on their 3DS :)

Puzles de chill con cubitos

This game is a really fun time waster and has really creative puzzles, I recommend this to people who are bored to try and play some of the Boxboy! games or the series, the only problem with it is that some puzzles were very out of the box or the game does not teach you about this and its not perfect, its just good.

It's a little difficult to recommend a game like this with the current state of affairs regarding the now defunct Nintendo E-shop, but if you're keen to use [legal methods of acquisition] Boxboy! is a cute little time waster. I got the game before the closure of the 3DS E-shop and have been playing it on-and-off from time to time, typically on my bed or during a commute. I wouldn't entirely recommend binging through it, as it's certainly made with bite-sized sessions in mind, but I should say that I kind of binged through pretty large chunks of the game.
The game is an aesthetically pleasing albeit visually minimalist puzzler with minimal platforming. Being mostly decidedly paced in a means to not need a great dexterity, with the exception of the final level set and the post-game bonus levels. The game doesn't use the dual screens in any other means besides spacing out the content, which does further it's more minimalist visuals but doesn't particularly contribute to gameplay, with no usage of the touchscreen. If you were to emulate the game via [legal means] I'd say the second screen needn't be given too much room on its own.
Boxboy! is a recommendation for anyone looking for an on the go brain teaser that's easy on the eyes, less of a recommendation if you're just going to play it on your home system, but I mean getting it now would really only be through emulation so there isn't much harm with the lack of cost. If you have a 3DS with this sitting on it and haven't played it, it's pretty fun, give it a shot.
