This game has some problems, none of of which are it's ending.
Almost all the culprits in the cases felt obvious to me more than 2, which kind of takes the fun out of it. Some characters are absolute duds, not as many as 1 but still. Finally the twist (or more accurately a part of it) is so obvious early on that its kind of frustrating to deal with for the whole game. HOWEVER, the ending is so strong I'm willing to forgive it for the most part.

The fact that I still see people argue about the ending just proves the point of the game.

This game gave me depression. The fact that it made me cry many times is proof that it is one of the most emotionally impactful works of art ever.

Almost everything here (writing, mystery quality, character) feels like a bit of a step down from SDR2 (it's still very good), but the ending is more than capable of making up for that and then some.

Half of the characters' writing sucked in this game and the artstyle is weird compared to the others, but the journey all the way through to the end was worth it and I loved the ending to death it's so meta. It's a new twist onto the franchise. I loved the way it exploded my mind with its commentary in the final trial.

A gruesome series with a fantastic ending mixed with twisted and compelling stories, one of my favorite games ever
