The wait for this game was mostly centered on the hype of it being a Persona Warriors game, but this is quite far from the truth of what the game actually is.
Take the Persona 5 formula, trim the fat a bit, and replace all turn-based battles with short Musou/Warriors-like encounters and you have Persona 5 Strikers.
Combat was a lot of fun and some battles, especially Dire Shadows, can require a surprising amount of thought that must go into them. This isn't the usual turn-your-brain-off Musou button masher.
Story was a tad lacking being what felt like the events of Persona 5 yet again (I feel as though the game even acknowledges it at times...) Although it did have its moments that genuinely intrigued me and new characters like Sophia and Zenkichi more than make up for it in my eyes. Love these goofs.
