There comes a time in every man's life where at some point, his hope for the future fades. Everyone on this dying planet wilts; turns into a cynic. He fears for his grandchildren in this day and age, remembering how the good times have come and gone and will die with them. It feels like all is lost, until they find something that gives them that same hope. Some find art. Some find culture. I found Family Guy Video Game.

People will always have their opinions on the value of art in the real world, and I feel as if Family Guy Video Game is the definitive proof that not only do games deserve to be art, but they deserve to be heralded as the future. In this modernistic society of blaming our problems on the media poisoning our children, I think we as adults need to step back to look closer and understand the media we consume. I believe Family Guy Video Game to be a perfect starting point.

Down to the opening cutscene. Peter Griffin (voiced by the endlessly talented Seth MacFarlane) is sitting in his garage watching a televised broadcast of the Mr. Belvedere show, specifically the episode where the aforementioned Mr. Belvedere sits on his own nuts. Brian comes in and criticizes Peter's taste in television, only for him to be shushed and ignored. I think this speaks volumes about our society.

It says something about how selective our memories are. How the modern American can sit idly by and laugh at the pain of others on television, but children innocently playing their video games bought by their responsible parents will be unfairly ridiculed and shamed for partaking in something they had no choice in. They only grew up with it, same as Peter with television. It's a repetitive cycle, and one we may never learn from due to our own cynicism.

Also, at one point, Stewie Griffin (voiced by the endlessly talented Seth MacFarlane) steps on people's butts. That was pretty funny

this game does many things, and it does them all perfectly, but one thing it isnt is a liar. that man, for all intents and purposes, definitely ate some snakes.

never played the game but boy do i love family guy

hey lois, remember the time my game sucked balls? nyehehehehehe

Peter fart and baby do funny :)

Family Guy Video Game! is one of the greatest video games of all time and one of the hidden gems on the PS2. The game features three playable characters: Stewie Guy, Peter Guy, and Brian Guy.

Starting with the weakest of the three, Brian Guy (played by Seth MacFarlane) plays through stealth levels in a similar fashion to Metal Snakes Solid because Brian Guy has been falsely framed by Mayor Adam West Guy (played by Adam West) for raping his dog (Seabreeze Guy) and Mayor Adam West Guy pays off the police to arrest Brian Guy. Brian Guy must go through a captivating story featuring false accusations and a deep emotional plot of Brian Guy trying to clear his name. The Brian Guy gameplay is interesting but overall the most boring of the three, because Brian Guy is a dog which means he is weak. Dogs should not be allowed to make video games.

Stewie Guy (played by Seth MacFarlane) has solid gameplay featuring him using his newly invented Stewie Gun to shoot up several people who attack him while collecting nuts to upgrade his weapon with upgrades you will use once or twice and then never again. Stewie Guy must infiltrate Peter Guy's dick (and Peter Guy says IT FEELS LIKE SOMEONE IS PLAYING A VIDEO GAME IN ME) to chase down Other Stewie Guy (Other Stewie Guy tricked Stewie Guy at the beginning of the game and now is going to take over the world, when Stewie Guy originally wanted to.)

Peter Guy (played by Seth MacFarlane) is the best character in the game and the most fun. Peter Guy must save his family from Mr. Belvedere Guy by beating up everyone in sight; Peter Guy himself even says "THE YOUNG AND ELDERLY WON'T SURVIVE MY FISTS OF FURY!" This is true because in the Peter Guy segments of the game you get to beat up and kill masses of little children which I think is funny and revolutionary because no other game lets you hurt little children (NOT EVEN SKYRIM.) Peter Guy is a super strong guy who kills everyone and is very fun and has many funny super moves to destroy all the scum he comes across.

As great as this game is, sadly it does not have Quagmire as a playable character which prevents it from being the best game of all time. I recommend anyone with a PS2, XBox, PSP, or an emulator for any of those to play this game as soon as possible. You will laugh, cry, and have an amazingly fun time playing through this story featuring these beloved characters, and it is a game you will never forget and always cherish.

Get this game.

I just wish Glenn Quagmire were playable.

Buenisimo los chiste, especialmente el de la pared invisible

Waiting for Aaron to finish this tbh

peter dies from a dish televison

hey lois, this is just like that time i was in a game for the xbox, eheheheheheh

this one SUCKS!!!!! but its funny and the graphical style is neat
plus i fucking love the cutaway gag quicktimes

This is the cause of all my pain. exactly one year ago today my grandma gifted me this game. then she died and said peter griffin did it. after that my family got into a huge argument with local joe swanson mafia and my whole family died. a day later they burnt my house and this game was the only thing that remained in the ashes

While it was more of a repeat of early Family Guy jokes in a video game, it's still perfect just the way it is. This needs a remaster as much as some of the Simpsons games.

this reminds me of the time i played family guy video game

This game sucks peter testicles

I'm counting down the days until Peter Griffin is added to Fortnite

I've actually not played this in over 14 years, but I remember when I was like 7 years old and I rented this game from Blockbuster and I somehow accidentally closed the case onto my nipple and I started crying.

La verdad es que no es un mal juego, pero creo que solo a los fans de la serie le va a gustar este título. Un juego simple repetitivo y con muchos chistes.

i try to replay this game every once in a while as a sorta penitence

I guess I can give it props for capturing the show's style of humor, but my God, this was needlessly difficult and almost never fun.

The final boss glitched so I couldn't beat him, and then a power cut happened.

The only reason it's getting a 2 instead of a 1 is that I laugh at it, other than that it's about as fun to play as Fallout 4; IE not very.

This was the last thing I ever rented at Blockbuster before it went bankrupt and every location in my state shut down and part of me wishes I kept the game and its iconic Blockbuster case as a tragic little memento.

I wouldn't be replaying it in this scenario, mind. This game works far better as a morbid conversation starter than as a video game you play.
