Gives off some lovely carefree vibes, while simultaneously portraying the topic of environmental exploitation in one of the most memorable ways I've experienced. On top of that, I love the bouncy physics that gives the platforming a natural feel without coming off as slippery. There might not be much content in a traditional game sense, but it really packs in a good amount of cute and clever moments within the short playtime I had.
This game sticks around for just the right amount of time, it's cute, funny, surprisingly well made mechanics and platforming, and in general just puts a smile on my face whenever i boot it up.
Multiplayer is a bit underwhelming but still a fun hour and a half with a friend.
Well worth your time and money, if you need a 4 hour experience to just enjoy for the sake of happiness, I cant think of a better game.

Simple, but it works? Is I guess, the best description I've got for Pikuniku. It's not the deepest or longest puzzle platformer out there, but it never feels repetitive or becomes dull in the few hours it takes to complete. It's light and breezy entertainment.
The esoteric humour also keeps the game rolling along nicely. The antagonist has a bizarre preoccupation with corn, and you'll need to defeat a foe on the dance floor, that sort of thing. Your character has a soft penchant for mayhem and causing chaos, which adds another layer of charm, didn't experiment enough to see if any of this could be avoided.
Pikuniku uses curved-edged vector visuals as opposed to pixel art. It's a nice change-up. Guessing they might have been inspired by LocoRoco and few obscure Dreamcast titles. The worst part of the game is a Dig Dug riff that falls pretty flat and lacks a mechanic to make it unique.
Not sure if anyone will be blown away, but it's silly and has dumb jokes.
Got Pikuniku for free on the Epic Games Store. Not a bad pickup on Steam at the time of writing this, as it's 70% off.

Decent cute little game. I like the artstyle and the movement is surprisingly enjoyable. The dialogue is okay but it does get a little too "lol so quirky" for me with its overly simplistic delivery and purposely incorrect grammar. The music was pretty nice as well and while the difficulty is generally nonexistant, the minigames and puzzles are still enjoyable. My only real gripe with the gameplay is that some parts of boss fights (the saws on the first boss not giving any sign that they'll pause, mr.sunshine shooting out popcorn way too fast in the final chase) could be annoying compared to the laidback nature of the rest of the game.
This game has a simple premise (you're a thing with legs and feet and no arms) but it finds interesting things to do with it.
The plot is funny and the characters are pretty goofy. In this way I feel like it's like the charming Wandersong, but with different ways of interacting with the world and less puzzles.
I'd recommend this one, but be aware it's a quicky.
