Cute little game. Feels too short for full price. Reminded me of Poptropica in the best ways.

The co op is fantastic :)

Bonito juego, corto pero memorable; kino

Goofy anti capitalist game. Really cool.

''Pikuniku is a short- and easy game, hence why the review is also not very long. It’s a simple game with a good sense of humour that is especially geared towards the children. It’s a dry sense of humour that doesn’t rely on in-jokes or adultery lines, but instead on good writing with a fun- and diverse cast of characters. It got me laughing out loud multiple times, and I feel that’s a worth accomplishment in its own right. Gameplay-wise the game is fine as well; Piku controls pretty well even with lanky legs, and there is enough variety in gameplay to keep the pace going. The puzzles are easy to understand, and there is a good amount of optional stuff–even though I’m still unsure what to do with all of it. That said, it’s a short but very fun adventure and ideal for the younger audience, but not a bad game to play for the older gamers either. My recommendation for Pikuniku is to beat it, and complete it if you so desire!''

It's a fun game to beat in a night or two. There's not a whole lot of depth gameplay wise (at least from what I could tell from the campaign), but is fun regardless and leads to some pretty cool movement. However, the writing and humor are on point, and are definitely the game's main strengths. It's also got a fun anti-capitalism story too, and you can't go wrong with that. It won't challenge you, but it'll certainly make you smile.

paying $10 for barely two hours of gameplay challenge

Short but sweet platforming experience. Nice humor, cute visuals and a nice multiplayer puzzle mode.

Super charming adventure platformer with some great humour and fun puzzles. Doesn't outstay it's welcome either. Wonderful!

I appreciate the beautiful visuals with cute characters and a colorful world. But halfway through the game, I was already wondering when it was going to end.

As a person who likes to see all the possibilities of dialogues with NPCs, this game was a pain in the ass, because most of the dialogues are soooo uninteresting and the humor is so over-the-top silly and dorky.

Not to mention the movement of your character that is super slow, which makes backtracking very tiring and tedious. And also puzzles that, right as you see'em, you already know how to solve them.

I really wish I liked Pikuniku more, but after finishing it I am grateful to have paid a low price for it.

Wonderful sweet little anti-capitalist game. Heartfelt, adorable, hilarious, and direct with its political messaging. Love.

Absolutely chaotic & wonderful.

Reminds me of when I first played Katamari - there’s not enough of these games out there.

A very charming and fun little adventure game. Not much in the gameplay department, but makes up for it with a very unique, casual style of writing, which makes the admittedly simple story work a lot better. A bit too short, but a good time overall

With a protagonist like this... the game should be tagged as "psychological horror".

Based anti-capitalist chad Piku vs virgin capitalist Mr. Sunshine

A ideia de coletar troféus e chapéus ajudou a me animar e querer procurar coisas novas.

I kept waiting for the “real” game to start, because it was pitched to me as one of those “I wouldn’t want to spoil what this game really is” titles in the vein of Frog Fractions or something. It’s not. What you get in the first village is more or less what you can expect the rest of it to be: a not particularly challenging platform adventurer with an ultraminimalist aesthetic and affectation you’ll either find cutesy or grating (I was somewhere in between).

I appreciate the anti-capitalist themes and some of the humor, but there wasn’t enough weight to this world or its characters to keep me invested in the mechanics, which put me off pretty early. I felt like I spent most of my time wandering around looking for objects I’d missed, hopping consequence-free (except for the consequence of missing a high jump and having to make a long walk back) from cloud to cloud around largely empty environments. Ultimately there’s not a lot of “there” there.
