Solid beat-em-up with a great artstyle and catchy soundtrack. Game's a bit wonky at times in how objects are handled on the map. The controls aren't as precise as I'd like them and the game's pretty easy once you're fully leveled-up. Other than that though, good game.

I liked the graphic novel series a lot, and if I liked beat em ups, I think I would have liked this a lot more.

scott pilgrim is a weird series because a lot of it requires your patience to sit through an intentionally awful person, knowing the whole point is hoping that he'll learn to grow up.

that said, incredible game. really tragic its gone

definitely reliant on the source material for its charm but its a fun beat em up (that is if you happen to still own it)

On dark canadian winter nights I listen to Another Winter and it's a big mood

One of the most fun beat 'em ups I've ever played with an amazing soundtrack by Anamanaguchi that I STILL listen to today. I'm so glad Ubisoft is bringing the game back to modern consoles now.

only beat em up game i love

The Best Movie Tie-In Game Ever Made.

The graphic novels have less sprite theft, fun fact.

An alright beatemup from an era when indie games with pixel graphics weren't incredibly grating.

I'll tell you what's absolutely not grating though, is the soundtrack. Anamanaguchi killed it.

Beat-em-ups have never been my thing but I still enjoyed Scott Pilgrim. The art direction, animation and music are all incredible but the gameplay is a tad repetitive.

a surprisingly memorable beat em up with a lot of heart

JUST RERELEASE IT UBISOFT, I'm tired of you blue balling us on twitter, it's almost the 10th anniversary of the movie I'm sure you can get the rights for like 2 years, you have enough Assassin creed money to do anything, just let me have this please!!!!!

There's a reason people remember the soundtrack for this game

and ONLY the soundtrack

This game is so damn good, Ubisoft I beg you, bring it back!

paul robertson and anamanaguchi carried this game, don't @me
edit: after replaying this I changed my mind not even they carried this game. it gets SO much worse as it goes on.

Development history of this game is cruel, post-release fate is fascinating, but otherwise it's a pretty middling beat'em-up carried by great soundtrack and spritework

I loved this back in the day. I doubt I'd be into playing it again, but the presentation is all fantastic.

The year 2010 is a genre in and itself

game as perfect artform of Paul Robertson with perfect soundtrack from oldest more chiptuner anamanaguchi

banger BUT with some gameplay disbalances and also scott pilgrim ruined my whole generation

Core gameplay is incredibly basic and the fact it's basically required to grind in a beat-em-up of all things definitely knocks a few points off.
The presentation as a whole however, is carrying the game hardcore, amazing stuff.. This was a very fun romp with friends but I don't see myself going back to it anytime soon.
