Perfect combat with each fight feeling frantic and unique, fantastic pacing, godly level design, LAWNMOWER MUSIC, a ginormous amount of content and awesome upgrades to pretty much everything, super pretty with pretty colors and looney tunes ass sound effects, fantastic movement that even makes platforming kind of fun.
Only, ONLY, complaints would an overindulgent story that while isn't bad, just feels like it didn't need to be here, and the aimless platforming can get a bit too much in the way of my rampaging boner, but other than that this is one of the GREATS!!!

A phenomenal game designed with keeping the player constantly active. It practically improved upon everything introduced in the 2016 reboot, resulting in what I would argue to be a near-perfect experience. I could go as far as to say this game did the most in helping me rethink the way I play first person shooters, as I never really made an effort to learn keybinds in any other game before (don't ask how or why). Moving on to the specifics of this game, there is so much to applaud it for. Graphically, it is a stunning game that is very well optimized, and it returns to the franchise's roots in the way the weapons and enemies look. The soundtrack by Mick Gordon is once again amazing, fueling your power trip as you rip and tear through demons. The weapons, abilities, and enemies in this game are designed in a way to maintain a consistent combat flow. Most of the weapons from the 2016 reboot return, functioning mostly the same, and once again providing choices for weapon modifications. New additions to the arsenal like the equipment launcher enhance the experience by promoting strategy and careful consideration of your vitals and resources. You gain new abilities including the "Blood Punch" which charges by executing glory kills; a dashing ability; and the "Meathook" (an attachment for the "Super Shotgun"), which greatly increases mobility. The roster of enemies has expanded greatly, posing new threats and annoyances in combat, with most having a specific weakness/weak point that can be exploited. Replay value is even greater in this game given the high skill ceiling, different playstyles, difficulty levels, master levels, fan service, and collectibles available. Two episodic expansions exist in The Ancient Gods Part One & Two, which add a decent amount of new content, and conclude the story of the reboots. I absolutely see myself coming back to this game frequently in the future to keep my skills sharp and perhaps let off some steam.
