Honestly the bot-building stuff is pretty neat. It's cool to build a bot companion, but I don't really know why I would ever choose a boy companion over one of the fully voice-acted companions?? Just let me have a robot as a bonus companion.
The three story quests are fine but the new enemy variation is neat.

As a quest, it's a classic Fallout workout with raiding a few locations and retrieving items that just end up pointing you to your next target. You get a nice little lair In the end, but the stage before that is hella buggy and if you're on console you can get screwed sideways for no reason at all.

Content-wise, it adds some sick customization options to androids and such. You can have a tiny little companion or a gigantic tank to accompany you. It's fun, but it's not much on its own. Overall a fair addition to your gameplay when you buy it on wholesale with other DLCs.

The missions and companion are boring. The new raiders (Rust Devils) are goddamn annoying. There's barely any story. Building robots can be fun at first, but it just gets old after a while because too much is locked from the start, so you can't build enough fun crazy creations. The big dungeon isn't that long, but it looks pretty nice. And it ends in a big throwdown gauntlet against the Mechanist's bots...

And then, the final fight bugged. No problem! I knew for a fact that there's a solution to get around the final fight by finding holotapes to open an elevator that goes straight to the Mechanist!

Then that bugged too. Only one of the three holotapes appeared, the other two vanished from existence. So how did I do it?

I loaded the game today, and the elevator to the Mechanist was already open with zero input on my part. So while I was originally going to resolve this peacefully, (as in speak to the Mechanist and be a good little Karma boy) instead I rode up the elevator, equipped my minigun, and Frank Horrigan'd their fucking ass to kingdom come. The Mechanist, and all their shitty bots. Thank god this is finally over.

1 star.

De mis dlc favoritos del juego por las nuevas mecánicas de creación y modificación de robots y androides. Ada es mejor personaje.

Robot builder with some quests attached to it. Kinda funny how it inadvertently fucked challenge runs of the game. Annoying that you can’t have a bot and a normal companion but mods can fix that. Would be cool if it also allowed you to fix up existing robots in the wasteland and buy/sell them kinda like the RobCo certified mod for FO3/FNV

Let us kiss robots Todd you fucking coward!

Ada is the best companion in the game. She fully accepts my hoarding tendencies and doesn't mind when I commit crimes

On the "Eh" side of fallout dlcs, alright at best
