the only reason it got 4.5 stars is because Portal 2 is slightly better. Exceptionally good tho

i played this game so damn long ago that i dont remember too much about the actual game itself beyond that it was good as hell ,,,

Still such a fun little short title to blast through. All killer, no filler. It lowkey feels like a tech demo with some extra steps but it kind of makes the impact of it all the more amazing.

Portal is one of the most famous and elusive games in video game history; I knew about it but never actually played it until recently. After playing I can say it blew my expectations away and may be one of the coolest games I've ever played. The puzzles are great and the eerie atmosphere works wonderfully. The game's biggest advantages are the portal concept which is genius and GLaDOS who is both funny and unnerving. This is a great game if you can get your hands on it.

Short and sweet. No fluff. Just nonstop fun puzzles.
Also, Glados is hilarious.

A classic, this game is amazing for reasons that have been stated time and time again, and I feel the same.

A short, yet remarkable game. Portal does tickle the brain quite rightly. It isn't too difficult, but it also isn't a cakewalk. It's pretty much a relic of its generation.

I played this game near the time when it came out and it was practically a perfect game. I played it again 16 year later and it's still practically a perfect game.

This is probably the highest point for physics-based first-person puzzle games. But to be fair I don't consume many of those.

Fun game, but it doesn't have enough mechanics to be a long game. GladOS isn't as good as she is in the second part, too.

This and its sequel are the only Puzzle Games a lot of people ever play and you can seriously tell depending on how they talk about them. Helps that this game is a very good proof of concept.

Cant believe it took me this long to get to this game. Cant wait to play portal 2.
