This game practically masters the "Fable" aesthetic; the story is engaging and is written with a verse-based whimsy that is infused with a depth unheard of in games of this tone. The sole issue hampering this game is the Final-Fantasy-style combat; while the strategy involved in timing hits is somewhat engaging, the sheer, samey repetitiveness of it, in addition to the lack of useful info on enemy stats, make the idea of playing on anything other than Casual untenable.

Loved the storybook art direction , gameplay had so much potential that I don't think the game managed to reach but was great nonetheless
Always love when all your party members level up regardless If you use em in battle or not and this game did that beautifully and without a doubt the highlight of the game was my party and how I cycled between them in battles
on the other hand hated the rhyming dialogues between characters was more complicated than it needed to be

There's probably a decent game in here, but it didn't click with me. The visuals are pretty, but Vita performance isn't good enough to keep up with them. The writing is unique but stops just short of charming me. There's also something creative going on with the combat, but it still seems a bit too simple to be tactically engaging.
