A game unlike any other I'd played. It's like a playable story with roguelite elements, and gameplay elements like a life meter and money. My niece, nephew and teen cousin were hooked watching me play, and my cousin in particular bought it himself, beat it 3 times, and showed it to friends. I beat it 5 times.

A road trip in a corrupt country with corrupt cops, a divided populace, and you're just trying to escape. A colorful cast of characters, a mixture of comedy, drama and suspense, and a lot of interesting minigames that mix things up. There's nothing else quite like it out there and I loved the experience. (But I hated the sequel, Mile 0.)

I "road" your mom last night and uh, yeah I 96'd her too. 😏😎

nao joguei ainda, pretendo jogar

Lindo, perfeito, simplesmente maravilhoso.

Overall it's a solid game. Besides clunky animations that sometimes can put you out of the mood, it's immersive, it's fun, and it's replayable.

As a huge game music fan I gotta give a shout out to this soundtrack as well. Most of the songs fit perfectly into a vibe and I've even found myself playing a few of them while being on the road irl as well. Great choice by the creators.

Not sure if there's much more to say to this. It's truly an experience... unique experience... every time.

Wow for a game I saw maybe 10 seconds of and thought... ''Oh this looks sorta interesting'', i am very surprised at the experience this game gave me.

'Life is Strange' is a game that is very dear to me. There is no other game that really transports you to its location like that...but this game may just be . At being at risk of sounding too 2020's about this, dare I say this game is very 'Viby'. I find myself getting very attached to narrative based games lately and 'Road 96' is a diamond in the rough 100%.

I loved all the characters, they are all so unique and so interesting to hang out with. I was very satisfied with how they all come together in the narrative and how they link to one another.

There is surprisingly a lot of freedom here too, I really felt like EVERYTHING I did effected my route and that all choices were important, and even the smaller things i could do like 'ring home' just really really helps to immerse me in the game.

It's not perfect, it has some small setbacks, despite it being replayable, I don't really have any desire to go back to it, at least for a while (I got a very satisfactory route and ending, (might just be lucky though, you might want to do it faster, depending on your choices).

Overall, awesome game, really really enjoyed how it felt above anything else. well worth your time.

Fun little rouge-lite game that's a very story focused. It's almost like a telltale game in that sense. However, for such a story focused game, I found the dialogue to be a little too on-the-nose and very straight forward in saying "this person and this thing is bad" and doesn't really leave any room for a gray area. I know it's a very specific commentary and message the game is trying to say, but I think it would've been a better player experience if there wasn't a very clear correct side to be on. I made the decision to play each run as a different "character" with different perspectives and views and reasons for doing what they did, and with no knowledge of the other runs I've done, and I believe that did make my experience better, but I wish that more was done on the games part of making me want to explore other options and moral dilemmas.

9/10 This game will hold a special place in my heart

2 out of 5 runs ended with death. That's a number I can live with.

Had no idea what this game would be like but I actually love it alot.

This is a game I should honestly hate: a story about dumb Millennials with hamfisted and unsubtle politics. Yet there is something so charming and endearing about this game. I particularly like the concept of each run being similar in structure and going to the same end goal, yet the route is always different and there are tons of possibilities and things that can happen depending on where you go.

This is also just a really wacky and memorable cast of characters. The thieves are funny, the truck driver is cool. The cop is cool. The taxi driver is so unhinged and I love it. The geek I was not a big fan of... same with the reporter. But they all have a role to play in the story which helps.

The journey in general is fun, it has pleasant visuals and really good music. It just feels a really dynamic experience and it sticks with you. And it has really funny moments too.

That said, there are many issues. The voice acting is pretty bad and the story is cringeworthy at parts. So many liberties and leaps in logic, characters suddendly having a random change of heart. Etc.

Still, I can't bring myself to dislike the game. Again, I should hate this, but it was a really fun experience!

That was a fun 8 hours. I really like the art style and the way the game told the narrative, a beautiful little roadtrip and when you think about it quite a deep story about living in a tyranny. Looking forward to trying out the prequel soon

A journey across a country any third world dystopian resident (such as I) an easily identify with, it tells of a tale of friendship, hope, companionship, and redemption for multiple millennials seeking a better life outside their country, only to encounter the true heart and soul of the nation, their fellow countrymen. Many variations to the story's ending, this choice heavy and randomly generated road trip is quite a tearjerker in its softer moments. 100% unlocked Zoe & Alex's stories, I'll surely come back for more of Papa Bear and Mama Bear!

i loved the feeling of this game, it genuinely made me want to back pack and go out on a journey.

Not a bad road adventure, big minus, only for one time.

This game goes in depth of how its like to be an illegal immigrant and does it well. The story path and amount of choices you can make can make a good relation to Life is Strange, and I love the soundtrack as well!

IT FEEELS SOOOO GOOOD OUT, ON THE ROAD AND ON MY OWN
WAAAAKING UP NO STRINGS ATTACHEDNO LOOKING BACK FROM
OCEAN WAVES TO DESERT SKIES AND SUMMER NIGHTS
I KNOW
THE ROOOOOAAAAD IS MY HOOOOME
