I'm a little lady, you know?

Sabe a cena do barco com a caveira... EU FARIA O MESMO QUE ELA.

Good narrative play. Sometimes dark and mysterious, but interesting. Unfortunately, it seemed hollow in places and I wish there was more stuff to the story. The plot is quite simple and obvious already at the beginning to the middle of the game, although all of its nuances are described literally in the last minutes. Nevertheless, the game has its own style and will definitely appeal to many people.

Benji Lenda sempre soube

Historia envolvente e devastadora curti.

she's a little lady, you know?

TRIGGERS ABOUND! Heads up on incredibly grim humor. Do not be deceived by the cute! There are some heavy themes throughout the game. Overall don't regret playing, but not sure I'd replay it even for achievements.

A wierd and wacky Point-And-Click, has a lot of good dark humor, but the story is a bit meh.

I've seen small portions of the game before, and after okaying it myself, I can definitely say it's an enjoyable experience.

Going through the story with Misfortune, I grew really fond of her. Progressively getting to know more about her throughout the story was engaging and fun, and towards the end you could finally understand what happened.

The art style and sound design was wonderful, with some really nice music. Going from scene to scene, I really appreciated the many details.

I do admit that some jokes and parts were a bit too silly or gross, but you're following a child through their journey, so I feel they fit perfectly.

All in all, I do love this game and would love to replay it again to see what other details and endings I can find.

This game was beautiful. First game like this that I have played and I really enjoyed it. I was able to finish it in one sitting which was really nice because since there was not any real gameplay I could see myself getting bored very soon if it continued. This game is perfect for people who love examining every little thing and exploring everything the game has to offer. The story was beautiful and kept me engaged and I felt strongly attached to the charming characters even in the short playtime. I was genuinely scared that my choices would greatly impact everything and I was thinking a lot about my actions. No complaints, amazing game that everyone should try.

This one left me a bit conflicted. The game has a very dark sense of humour as you explore a day in the life of a young girl from a broken home who decides to go on an adventure. Along the way you are given a look into her cute and wholesome misunderstanding of the gruesome world she lives in.

It has a very Eastern European sense of humour given how dark and bleak the goings on are but it's endearing to see the character take it all in stride and try to find the optimism in her naivety. The result is a comical point and click adventure that leaves you a bit torn between feeling concerned for her and curious at what exactly is going on since some of the events blur the lines between fantasy and reality.

There isn't actually much gameplay involved as you're just interacting with things and listening to dialogue for most of the game with occasional A or B choices that just leave room for 1 extra run through if you want to see the alternative events - though nothing that significantly changes the story - though there is a special ending if you achieve a certain goal.

Points for originality, but I get the feeling they could have just made an animated feature and gotten the same result.

TL;DR: A short narrative driven point and click game with a good story, good art and dark sense of humour. Not much gameplay, more like an interactive cartoon.

Pros:
Story - very enjoyable, filled with dark humour, dumb jokes and some emotional moments. Compared to Killmonday's previous game "Fran Bow" I got more connected to this character.
VA - while some may find Misfortune's voice annoying, I think both her and the narrator did an amazing job bringing the characters to life.
Art - simple but adorable art that really complements the game.
Music - nice music that fits nicely within the game.

Cons:
Gameplay - this is a pretty big one for me. Very few simple puzzles. Choices that do have some consequences but in the grand scheme of things don't really change much. This all makes the game feel more like an interactive cartoon than a game.
Replayability - I wouldn't include this if the game didn't have choices, but it does. Replaying the game is not really worth it since the choices mostly give you on average 2 different sentences that don't really deepen the story or the worldbuilding. It's nice if you replay the game after a few years but not back to back.

Neutral:
In-game album - nice artwork that would've been great if it was placed throughout the game instead of in a menu

Little Misfortune improves on a lot of things that were missing in "Fran Bow" but also degresses in others. I cannot fault the devs much for this because it feels as more of a spin-off that they wanted to do while working on their next mainline game.
If you've enjoyed "Fran Bow" I'd recommend playing this one as it gives a bit more insight into the same universe.

I rate it fancyy/10

‣ 10/10 – Don’t follow voices in your head.
‣ Game Audio / Soundtrack - 10/10
‣ Graphics – 10/10
‣ Atmosphere – 10/10
‣ Main Story / Characters – 10/10
‣ Voice acting – 10/10
‣ Final notes: This game made me feel like I just watched a very good movie that I will talk about and remember for a good week. Now that does not mean I will forget it, but it will remain something I remember if it is to be brought up in conversation. Don’t get me wrong Little Misfortune is a fantastic little story. It is both funny and dark at the right times. I think the whole tale is wrapped up perfectly without really leaving any unanswered questions. Sure, I would like to know what happens to the protagonist after the story ends in for example a short DLC. However, I think the story ends in a very solid place giving you the conclusion and explanation you seek on your journey. The voice acting was also great, I enjoyed the accent Little Misfortune had, because it gave her more charisma and made some jokes funnier than they should have been. Overall, this game is a quick and short story that everybody who likes linier quick journeys should enjoy at least once.

Interesting story similar to that of Series of Unfortunate Events with bad outcomes happening to an innocent (and kind of stupid) child. I’m buying a Benjamin plushy and giving it to my dog.

The Game stars Misfortune Ramirez Hernandez, an imaginative 8-year-old, who seeks the prize of Eternal Happiness, as a gift to her Mommy. Led by her new friend, Mr. Voice, they venture into the woods, where mysteries are unraveled and a little bit of bad luck unfolds. Little Misfortune is an interactive story, focused on exploration and characters, both sweet and dark, where your choices have consequences.

This game is a delight, but also very sad. If you like a story that takes you on an emotional rollercoaster, you will enjoy this one. It's filled with dark humour and topics, but also has some little silly things, such as the glitter throwing and Misfortune's fart jokes. It has an unique artstyle and it's very pretty to look at.

Despite the fact that I had already watched a full playthrough of this game several times, it gripped me from my heartstrings and got me to shed a few tears. It's a wonderful game worth playing for yourself, and I definitely recommend it.

just a little lady, nothing to see here

It was an interesting game with an interesting and sad story. I wish there were more to the story. Having to make a choice without seeing the other options first made me so nervous like I wanted to know the consequences of my actions!

Muito bom! Mas queria que tivesse tido mais... Meigo e melancólico.
