Been a long time since I played, would have to replay again to review better

2017

Fun game, but does not offer a ton of replay value unless you play online/with friends. OK party game I guess

Probably my favorite Fire Emblem game. It offers a very refined, strategic gameplay loop that hooks you. Have yet to play DLC, but I want to someday. Only docked a single star due to the somewhat poor graphics, and the separate storylines reusing a little bit too much from each other.

Played on released when I was 13 -- I don't know if a game will ever be able to replicate the feelings I had when I dove into this game. While I do not think it is a perfect game, I would be doing my experience with this game a disservice to award it anything lower than 5 stars. The memories of exploring the massive Hyrule, learning about the Champions, and immersing myself into this game will forever make this game a 5/5 for me.

Played on release when I was 13 -- This was the first 3D Mario game that I beat, and I think it is probably the most fun and creative 3D Mario game I have played as of yet. Loses half a star for how the moons work, after a certain point they felt a little worthless but honestly because it is a Mario game that isn't a huge deal.

Solid JRPG. I enjoyed it, but probably would not replay it. The game felt mechanically unsatisfying, but the great music and story helped prop up the game for me.

This game is the epitome of dread. You can have the perfect loadout, the perfect team, and everything can still and will go south. This game is probably one of the grindiest games I've ever played, but it is always worth it when you triumph in the end.

Played on release -- Super fun and addictive, never got DLC so didn't find single player super good, but the online gameplay is excellent.

Played on release -- makes me want a new, original 2D Zelda even more. Super good, I personally like the updated visuals, and it encapsulates a fun, quick Zelda game.

Played on release -- Super solid Luigi's Mansion game, easily the most re-playable of the 3. The visuals are amazing and honestly my only complaint is that I wish it was a little bit creepier -- the first game and even the second felt scarier (as scary as a Mario game can get lol) and I wish this one felt the same. Otherwise, it is great.

Played in for the first time while I was waiting for Xenoblade 2 to come out. This game suffers mostly because of the existence of XC DE. Playing this game when you could instead play the Definitive Edition is difficult... the lack of QoL features and rough graphics are a hard sell. Still a great game for it's time.

Played on release -- makes the original game better in everyway, I do not think there is a single change that was worse. The music, visuals, story, and gameplay are all perfect, and this is a great start to the Xenoblade franchise as a whole.

Played on release -- This DLC is easily the weakest out of the modern Xenoblade DLC. The gameplay, while good, did not feel like it was very engaging due to the lack of options available. Lack of options can work sometimes, but the core gameplay did not change much to accommodate this, so the overall score is going to suffer. Otherwise, it felt like a great send-off to Melia's story, while offering us cool little hints towards the future of the series.

Played on release -- it is still crazy to me that this game exists. Probably one of my favorite Zelda soundtracks along with an extremely re-playable and fun game. Have played most of the DLC and it holds up just as well.

Played while it was available -- why Nintendo didn't keep this up forever will forever be a mystery to me. Was fun while it lasted though
