Love the gameplay, the last level left me frustrated and I felt like I only beat it from luck

Really enjoyed the art style and sound design. Most of the game was not challenging enough for me, but the special world levels were what I was craving. My favorite was "Fluff-Puff Peaks Special Climb to the Bear" I did not like how you had to find and search for each of the special world entrances, I had to Google two of them.

The controls were annoying, and yellow Pikmin carrying bombs were frustrating to work with. I found the gameplay and problem-solving to be extremely engaging.

Such a well made game with a great gameplay loop.

The visuals are so spectacular. It's unbelievable that it's possible to create that in a videogame. The gameplay and music are for the most part great, but there are some moments that are disappointing. Some of the required hits seemed completely disconnected from the rhythm of the music, and the music itself felt very messy at some parts to where it was difficult to identify any rhythm at all. Some of the indoor turns in particular offer too little visual cue as well.

I really didn't want to use save states, but the built in save methods did not seem fair. Save points were rare and the game expected playing through upwards of 3 or 4 levels just to get back to where you game overed. Some deaths felt unfair as well for various reasons, but most of the time the challenge was well balanced and fun.

Not for me, the aiming was frustrating and the gameplay didn't feel rewarding in the story mode. Multiplayer was fun. It takes too long to get going with the minute it takes for the talk show intro every time you start the game.

I'm glad that I played it, but the camera and player rotation were extremely annoying to work with.

This game is my childhood

Biggest hot take of my life. I know its a great game but Sonic just isn't for me and I forced myself too hard to try and like it.
