Wow.
I went into this game with very high expectations, and it blew me out of the water. Every aspect of this game from graphics, music, combat, story is fantastic and well worth a play. The strength of this story comes from playing Yakuza 0 and Yakuza Kiwami beforehand but it stands on its own far above the previous two entries and definitely makes my top 5 games of all time.
I can only hope the other dragon engine games are as good as this one

Unlike past AC games Nintendo took the approach to dripfeed content for this game, and this combined with the popularity due to a worldwide lockdown made this game get stale fast. I've tried to get back into it but there is no real reason to go back unless this game gets a major content update, rather than the updates with purely new shop items like they've been doing recently.

Might be worth a revisit for a more up to date review but as New Vegas is one of my favourite games of all time, I was super hyped for this game, and got majorly burned. It's not bad by any means, but can't hold a torch to New Vegas. Very buggy and on Xbox couldn't hold a consistent framerate. Bugs are what make Bethesda games good a lot of the time, but this game just felt empty and unfinished.
