Good platformer with some great music. Some stages can drag on, and some of the typical GBA sound chip boom is present, but it’s enjoyable and the translation is decent for the most part.

Challenge of the Gods is fucking AWFUL (and the speedrun was boring too). Pretty easy platinum all things considered.

Honestly really liked this one, while the first game is more iconic, this game has some great music and feels a lot better to control. The dungeons are decently designed and the game is just fun in general, but it’s cryptic so you’ll need a guide.

Only gripes here are the length of the nights (as you can’t buy items or heal during these periods) and the grind to get hearts. Otherwise, it’s a decent game.

I so talented I fluke my way into medical college, parent so proud!

Painfully mid. If this is what Sony see for Sackboy/LittleBigPlanet going forward they’ve made a big mistake

First time playing a horde shooter, and it was really fun. Decent weapon variety and banger soundtrack, enemies are fun to encounter too. But the bosses, and the kleer suck, so I would say this rounds out to a decent experience rather than an incredible one. I enjoyed it nonetheless

A massive improvement over CE, this game is a fantastic experience up until the last few missions for me, where I feel the game falls off a bit. Dual wielding adds a lot to the combat, and the new gun variety is great. The final boss (well all the bosses) is shit, and the ending is pretty abrupt. I guess today you can jump straight into Halo 3, but the ending as a whole is a terrible cliffhanger.

Great game, but flawed.

The fucking phone's ringing, THAT'S WHY I LOST

Did a 100% run using RetroAchievements, and the challenges they set for you made the game even more fun than it usually is. Would definitely recommend trying it out if you have already played this game

I’d never played Rhythm Heaven before this and can say I pleasantly surprised by how fun this was. It’s a decent experience, but I know I will have more fun with the sequels. Not much to say, it’s a solid game worth checking out.

Killed 500 dragons and withers and wardens at the same time, was certainly an experience

Glad I gave this game a second chance, playing via the HD Collection instead of emulating really helped this game, and I ended up enjoying it a lot more (apart from the realm of Hades near the end)

It’s a solid action game with a good story, and Kratos himself and his weapons are just so iconic. Definitely still an issue with certain enemies being sponges or downright bullshit to fight against, but it’s a PS2 action game, what do you expect

One good thing to say about this game, it’s better looking than the first Strider game.

Otherwise this is one of the worst games I’ve ever played, and reading up on this and realising it was a cashgrab made for Europe, that Capcom couldn’t give a fuck about, it makes perfect sense.

I got filtered by the "triangle jump" here, which is the method used to walljump. It's almost impossible to use 100% of the time, which makes platforming ridiculously hard. It's a shame, because unlike the Genesis version this game has somewhat of a story to it, and a better soundtrack, but it's just your run of the mill NES platformer that is plagued with slowdown.

Surprisingly decent. Visually the game looks good, and the movement at your disposal is actually really good for a 16-bit platformer, but Strider himself feels quite stiff to control and the game throws A LOT of enemies at you at once. Not bad for a first game but it has its issues and slowdown at parts ruin it.
