bro idk if im getting old or I didnt play it as a kid but its actually so boring to me.
It feels so basic and repetivie. Don't get me wrong I can see the appeal but just constantly shooting at zombies is not my idea of fun.
Hyprocritical since I like COD zombies but at least there you have secrets and mechanics that are different in each map. and the struggle to get to high rounds is pretty fun.
5 mins in this and id rather just play Shadows of Evil

how does a game with this many flaws and this many questionable creative choices also go as hard as possible?
Ive been really into rouge likes lately and this is one of my favorites. though i wish the early game was quicker and funner like in enter the gungeon.

UPDATE: beaat the run 4 times and this is easily one of my favvorite games of all time. Its like every artistic and design decision was passed through the Senate of making raw ass games. only complaint is that the 5th chamber boss is not as hard as he should be

the card system was a cool idea on paper but is not as much of a hit as Square probably thought. I do appreciate them trying new things but nothing beats the OG combat from the mainline series.
The story is god awful. hours upon hours of filler recap just to get probably 2 pages of exposition hyping up the next game. The Organization were half cool half mid as fuck. Axel and Marluxia were my favorites. Vexxen was ight too.
By the end of Soras run and most mof Re:mind I was just so done with it and hurried to get to the next game.

yes I understand everyones concern with this game, i really do.
But it just clicked for me.
pacing is horrendous, lots of stupid decisions but the core idea of the game i really vibe with. Also some of the best action horror gameplay ive seen.
This is still the BEST looking game in the industry and i am willing to fight anyone that disagrees.
