Not my favorite arcade game, but certainly a great one. Timeless.

1983

The most underrated arcade game. Such a good time, with a lot of fun to be had.

In comparison to galaga, this is garbage. Without the comparison, its subpar.

Of course it's good. It's galaga. One of the best arcade games of all time, the best of it's genre.

This is a perfect arcade game. It's core gameplay is just fun, no matter how much you play it. A classic that still holds up to this day.

Some aspects of this dont hold up, but generally this is still a good time.

Classic fighting game that still holds up.

Super fun collection with some really nice remastered graphics.

A perfect sequel. It doesnt have that same discovery vibe as the first but thats because this was made for players of the first that were ready to spread their wings. So many awesome elements added here that really adds to the game. I'd love to go and list them but we'd be here all day. A perfect sequal to people who played the first and were ready for more.

This is now outdated by the second, but theres such a charm to this game that can never be replicated. Theres something about the way you can shake things and put them together that makes such a cool "Ohhh I can do that" vibe to the game. And you can do a lot of awesome stuff in this game. This certainly holds a special place in my heart.

Outdated and even for its time its pretty lame.

Never was huge on this, but I recently finally finished and its one of the greatest 2D platformers of all time. I always thought the controls were too floaty but once you get used to it every aspect of the game is brilliant. It looks beautiful, the soundtrack is amazing, the level design is top notch, a super cool overworld, encourages exploration of secrets, theres so much to love. Such a creative and beautiful game.

I appreciate the difficulty spike, but I'm not huge on this one. Couldnt tell ya why. Not bad tho.
