how did anyone think that this is at all good enough to be on the same level as other smt-like games. major bruh moment

imagine basing how powerful you are based on how good you are at singing, also people got butthurt because there was no hotspring dlc in the english version.

it has like some merits. like the actual performa aspect is nice, the fire emblem gimmick is like ok and the visuals are cool. but the combat is literally just baton pass but done really bad.

anyway, i can say this is definitely a game

As much as i love the story and characters, as well as some of the cool traffic stuff. i have literally NO idea why its fun. My experience was on classic mode as that's how the game was apparently meant to be played. but man is it unfair.

The race is one of the most bullshit things I've ever played, there is no conceivable way to win unless you are in at least 4th place after the first round which is already hard to do. I did that race to the point i didn't even know how many times i did it. and my god the final level is total bull, moving from cover is basically a death wish and i also found out that when you reload you lose the entire clip you had in your gun already, which the game never told me. So i had a checkpoint where i had extremely limited ammo and if i ran out and didnt kill the bullet sponges i was basically done for.

man i wanted to like this game but the fact this is the "classic" experience that everybody liked is horrifying. also freeroam is literally a separate option in the menu. I've been liking so much more of mafia 2 so far however so there is promise
