Hard to find the words for this one. Aggressively mediocre gameplay tied up with one of the most emotionally resonant stories I've ever seen in a video game. Characters so beautifully constructed that I cred several times while grinding out side quests so bad they feel like a parody. You really just gotta give this one a shot.

Even with only 2 chapters released to date Deltarune makes the generation defining Undertale look like a spin-off/prototype. Every aspect of the design and writing feel more nuanced and mature than Toby Fox's previous work with subtle improvements to the artistic direction that really bring these simple character sprites to life.
Can't recommend you jump into this one enough but I'll stress that playing through at least the true pacifist route of Undertale will add a lot to your experience.
