I am simple minded and I enjoy the aesthetics quite a lot, including the setting. It, like all aspects of the game, could have been pushed beyond the safe cliche where they are but it's a fun cliche.The main story is decent pulp cyberpunk but almost none of the characters are that interesting.

The gameplay is probably the weakest part of the game. Aside from fun gunplay, the systems are shallow and unsatisfying. Hacking, quickhacking, braindance, driving, stealth, melee... it's all quite lame. The path I chose, stealthy quickhacker, was extremely boring, consisting of holding tab and pressing the "kill" button.

Also no netrunning.

If the game was smaller maybe they would have made it actually fun. As it is, it's nice to get lost in the occasional side quest and feel like you're actually in Night City. But you're not. You're in Poland. And it's cold outside.
