Really is just easier to say Tekken but better. The speed and input accuracy feels far greater and the music oml gets a bit groovier. The pre render fmvs keep getting better and I like the main character switch a lot. Roster gets a bump and is all round a better game objectively. Had fun with this

What an admirable start. The places where you fight and characters that start here are very cool to see. The move list is tiny compared to how the series would start. Like 8 each. The moon jumps are strange and the speed of the fight but is super strange and slow. Kinda interesting to check out if your a fan of the series but I'd recommend starting else where. Not a bad first stab at 3d.

What a beautiful jank little game this is. The dub is all sorts inconsistent and poorly translated but by god I'd say it's greatly entraining and memorable. The world is rather detailed and rich in atmosphere and number of civilians and activities for a ps2 game. The fixed camera angles allow it to have such detail choked between cuts which can lead to some very beautiful pans and shots, has the knock on effect where certain corners of the map have a lot of cuts and you can be stuck in a stutter loading between them but they don't actively get in the way of combat or anything attentive ever which is greatly appreciated. Combat while very stuff and the lock on having a very rigid and non tracking system can be a lot of fun and greatly more accessible as the game goes on. The heat attacks and mechanics play really nice into the momentum of the games challenge. Story has a very interesting and exciting plot while it can meander at times the under 18 hours it took me feel brisk compared to what I did in 0 and it was actually a fun finale. I'm gonna rate this once I do the Kiwami remake

I wish the execution was a touch stronger but the concept is so cool. You really get to see budget and the northlight engine grow here and the ambition is admirable. Having a tv show watch between chapters is really cool even if you have to have a good internet connection which is kinda lame if the servers ever go down. It's got the Xbox one isms that plaque it a little. Cutscenes and some anims are at 30 and the forced walkies are pretty lame. Also picking up flavour text notes and emails oddly feels clunky and slow? Combat can be very cool but takes a little while to get the hang of even with all the unique remedy abilities. Unfortunately it lacks a bit of that gameplay juice tho as the live action cutscenes and game cutsces would've served enough story to gameplay ratio but unfortunately the levels can feel very brakes on in terms of playing anything. There's cool in game story telling and there's a lot of "follow character and talk" sequences that definitely kill a lot of fun for me and all replay value. Wish this got a sequel tho and worth a playthrough still for the experience of this games set pieces which are astronomically unique and awesome to this games credit.
Also Lance Reddick is fucking cool

Wowie zowie. A great time with constant suprises a visual and mechanical delight that it feels like it's going to shape the future of Mario for the best. Almost holding itself back. Semi linear is great and the badges make a fun addition and replay value. The flowers are great and so is the music. My only problem that's holding it back from a 5 is the fact there's unskipable cutscenes? That kinda like occur although short but a lot. Same with text heavy sequences that feel like it just gets in the way a bit too much. Some seeds feel so freely given while others are much more rewarding to earn. Its great that there's levels to choose to skip or complete depending on how hard you want your game but some mandatory ones feel so damn cheap. Otherwise a great game that is a lot of fun alone or with friends but is definitely not designed for co-op at all

It's not a lake. It's a ocean.

Kinda reminds me of the super early uncharted template. Similar environments but variety in levels. Cinematic albeit short walk sequences that allow you to soak in the world. The story is rather simple compared to what it would become but the story telling is engaging. Honestly a faulty average game but with a great slap of character that helped me be endeared to the series. Having the flash light be the cursor is cool imo.

Peak.

I literally should not say anything about this game. It's an experience that should be experienced by everyone.

WHy the frick was there interesting ideas here for events that bareky get used. Other things this game does special is the main menu kinda simple and scenic even more so than its full release. It Especially loads faster and has some nice unique menus of its own. Otherwise a pretty substantial demo. Neat bonus for being able to carry progreess over to main game. Reccomended if youre just curious about old gt media. I should note i played with its updates to spec 3. And holy crap there is post game unlocks lmao how neat

Wait till it's patched. By then it'll be worth it's asking price. Extras like the master book, screenplays for all games and the different versions are great for Mgs fans even though it may be crap that you have to download the different versions and a lot of stuff isn't on the disc at all/cartridge even worse. Comparison to how these games were ported on PS3. Those titles on PS3 in terms of their polish and port quality is a 5/5 compared to this. This is the first time I've noticed actual bugs and blemishes on any port apprently the hd collection had a small number but none ever detrimental or negatively affecting unlike this. Mgs1 is bilinear filtering upsampled so it actually looks blurryier than how you remember it. And it also has audio cracking:(. Mgs2 alert phases bugged a lot for me and mgs3 rain got messed up are the highlights for me. It's playable if not the most inferior way to play these games right now as of launch release date

Positives first. It is a technical wonder and the new web wings help make the traversal have some much needed depth if not by a lot. Animations are smoother and holy crap do you swing heaaaaps faster. A parry. Cool uses of the ps5 controller .There are more moves even if they are activated via a similar way like gow and are all on cool down. Side stuff is thankfully changed up and with a few actively enjoying it's unique context. Also feel less like busy work. Story doesn't take anywhere near as long to have it's villians show up. There are more set pieces too. Ok soooooo I can't say I was dissapointed but nor am I blown away. Like there are little things here that help it's fun. But it now does outdate the other games. I feel it's becoming way too automated for my own taste. A lot more lows then there is highs. More sequences of restricted control or slow down than there is the game showing off its speed with the loading or flash. Kinda hampering my urge to replay at all tbh. Story is safe and predictable but a standout to Yuri lowenthal absolutely going hard in this game. I wish I was a kid playing these cause this would be a mind blowing good time but the changes here made to it's demographic make me the odd one out. A quality time if a bit basic safe and uninspired

I could play you forever and be happy. It's rough. It's slippery. It has some hard ass tracks. But it is the epitome of simple yet effective for me. This rating is probably 10000% nostalgia bias as it is my earliest memory on earth but I really do think a lot of this game holds up. So much of the bones are laid back here of the Mario kart template and yet this title does still have its unique execution on a lot of it, down to the unique limitations of the hardware. The game has no 3d karts but that allows the environments to look the part and have a decent render distance but it's the colours and shapes that absolutely do it for me. The aesthetic of this Mario kart is like no other. So easy on the eyes and the music are all absolutely bangers. Challenge is truely unfair but fun nonetheless and the introduction (some may say still one of the best to this day) of the battle mode makes the N64 truly standout as the multiplayer console. I just finished this game finally. After all these years on being alive and throughout every retry, failure and win. Every minute in this game made me smile. That's absolutely what gaming is to me. ✨ Magical ✨

Got so fucking close. So fucking close to loosing it all but I managed to beat it and get the good ending:) What a cute little RTS. Brimming with charm and challenge. There's great level design in here and I appreciate the non linearity of the progression to a point. There is some qol I've been spoilt by the later games that would help alleviate some frustration but it's truly a pleasure to beat and I definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to try something a little different

Krystelle said that this is the best game ever made. While it may not be true it is still a bit charming. The gameplay really is just fetch quests appropriately speaking, however the game does make a lot of filler excuses for some reason so the momentum of the game does like to drag given the premise of the story. Some mini games help break the variety up but I do feel like they come way too late. It does run at 60 the art is cute enough and the music can be catchy. Otherwise it's not a game I really recommend beating but it can be a title to turn your mind of to. There is a lot of dog types at least so it does get a bonus there.

As of right now before all DLC. I personally think it deserves the same rating as 11 in comparison. A lot of qol is missing and somehow lacks polish compared to the previous. However unlike 11. There is some sauce to the characters and kameos which is a unique addition that feels like a MVC lite for babies. Still a lot of fun and vaires the matchups. Combos are finally existing and same with air combos witch is great. Story was rather entertaining but for some reason devolved into all too familiar territory although again entertaining. Roster in the base is better than last. Missing some crucial characters imo. May re review when it's fully DLC up and all see what Changes. A good time worth watching the good parts on yt. Even tho the gameplay is better. It's unfortunate how behind it is on its on sensibilities and right now the competition. The lack of a working and stable netcode and no rollback. No modern or simplified controls severely hinder the amount of new players or customers or retain its casual audience. Lot of kontent but the Warner Bros DRM plaques every menu of this game and for some reason has progression broken from time to time and even locked me out of characters if I didn't have a stable wifi which is utter trash. Mk11 just has the better guests for me. That's why I'm soft on it

What'd I think. Pretty good. Still need to get better at all words but I did quite like this. I appreciate the structure of the game. The unique approach at combat made it stand out to me. The boss fights were fun and kicked my ass. Replay value is there and I may one day but I more want to try the others first. Story was ok cute that it plays out as you game as that kinda doesn't work lmao but it was fine and inoffensive. Thanks Kyle
